Q: What is the size of these boxes please?

8 and1/2 x 5 and 1/2 and 2 and 1/4 inches deep. The box is like those you find at a bakery. They seemed small to me at first but I was able to fit a dozen medium - sized 1/4 inch thick Christmas cookies in one for a gift. It works well if you are giving assortment of sweets, like cookies, sliced Christmas bread and candies as well. Hope this helps.

Q: will this fit a swiss roll?

That all depends on your Swiss roll. I found these to be the perfect size to gift a respectable number of homemade cookies to folks, given that my average homemade cookie is about 2 1/2 " wide and maybe 3/8" high. The information on the size of the box is right next to the images: "Assembled Box Measures- 8.5" Long x 5.75" Wide x 2.75" High". If your Swiss rolls are more that 2.75" high, they won't fit.
