Anatomy & Physiology: The Unity of Form and Function (Standalone Book) 7th Edition

This is my favorite reading. I purchased this e-book about three years ago as a required reading for two semesters (i.e., for "A&P 1" and "A&P 2" courses). In my opinion, this book is very informative because it encompasses everything there is one needs to know about human body. Actually, what I like about this book is that it is elegantly written in an easy to understand language and also that all of the detailed information is supported by myriad of illustrations, tables, diagrams, etc.--all of which makes it much easier to absorb this expounded knowledge about human anatomy and physiology. In short, this book was very helpful to me not only during my "Anatomy & Physiology courses," but also throughout my entire Nursing Program. Now, I am a Registered Nurse and continue my nursing education and, still, I find myself going back to this book as one of my best science references. (Perhaps, this book seems to be expensive, but not if you will use it for two semesters.)

This book was in excellent condition for not having covers. There were no marks inside or on any of the pages at all. As was stated by the seller when I bought it, it came with no covers but was easily put into a binding by a local shop for a good deal which still ended up saving me money compared to buying a brand new copy. This book has been used regularly for three years of my undergrad program and has a good amount of general and detailed information on the entire human body for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge. It has been a great support book outside of anatomy and physiology classes as well and explains things in a way that can be understood quite easily.

The book came super fast even when I ordered it in between the holidays!When I read the description it said the book was like new and I was excited. When I received the package I opened the book and had a heart attack. It looked like the same book but the cover was weird and being that this was my first online book but I was terrified. I then decided to read the included paperwork where there was a note saying the cover had gotten damaged and they had put a new cover on it. It said that if I had any issues they they would get back to me same day and even includes a set of headphones!The pages were 100% Beautiful! I 100% recommend useing this seller! I know I will use them again.

This book is definitely not inexpensive, but it was required reading for my son, and Amazon has quick delivery and the prices aren't terrible. Will not buy it again, of course, but it served its purpose.

I ordered the used book and to my surprise, it was in rather good shape. I have since passed it on to my superior who's in nursing school from work.

Nice rental. However, later found out through my Professor that I could have bought the 6th edition and save a ton of money which I later did ordered once the semester was over for a continuation of the previous Biology class for a fee of $14 compared to $58 for the rental, and then the pressure to return it back on time before its due date.

This book was in amazing conditions & looked like a new book! I would definitely recommend renting it especially if it’s required for a class!

I rented this textbook for my Anatomy and Physiology I and II courses that I took in the summer of 2015. To be honest, I started out reading the chapters, but ended up using a free eBook that the university also provided reading assignments for, which worked just as well. The main difference was that the Saladin text went into a lot more detail than the alternative eBook, but my particular courses usually covered any additional details (beyond those provided in the eBook) in the lecture notes. All in all, I'm glad I rented this textbook and didn't buy it, as it's crazy expensive and seems unnecessarily detailed for basic anatomy and physiology course work. All of that said, if you're like me and feel at ease when you know you have access to a wealth of information in case you ever get lost in class, then this textbook is a safe bet.
