This is an amazing book! It is full of historical facts that includes the vast perfume collection. Elisabeth De Feydeau is truly devoted to French history and a very good writer.

Beautiful book! Arrived earlier than scheduled and was exactly what every Diptyque lover dreams of! Well written with lots of paintings and photos.

フランスの人気キャンドル・香水メーカー、ディプティックを物語る初めての本です。　英訳のを買って読みました。　　創業当時の貴重な写真、香りやデザインの誕生するきっかけ、創業者たちのストーリーなど興味深い話はあるものの、なんとなく全体的に内容が充実しておらず、読み応えはいまひとつといったところです。どの章もしっかりと取材をしておらず、拾い拾いの情報だけで文章を書いているのがわかります。一部、写植のミスもありました。　ディプティック・ファンならぜひ持っておきたい1冊ですが、読み物としてはオススメできません。値段も高いですし、写真もそれほど充実していなので、運良く友人の家か図書館にあったら手にとって見てみる程度の本です。
