Good to have if your bicycle needs repair
Good part to have if your Schwin adult tricycle brakes need replacing or repair. If you have a Schwin adult tricycle seriously consider getting one for when your break system needs repair or replacement. I have the adult tricycle because my balance is not so good. Adult tricycle are great for people who have problems with balance but still want to ride a bike.

Exact replacement for schuwinn trike
Its an exact replacement for the schuwinn meridian trike. Its not chrome like the original, but works just the same. The drum is so similar that I chose not to go to the trouble of removing the original one. I replaced the housing and the friction band along with other small parts. Replacement is not exactly easy but can be done. An extra hand would make things a lot easier.

Works as it should
Got an older Schwinn trike from a neighbor, cleaned it up and and replaced the break since the old one didn't feel like it was slowing down the bike at all. New one works much better after some adjustment. Much easier to remove the middle axle than I expected too.

A quarter of the braking pad broke off, how?! Beat the hell out of me .
I stopped decent for a lil while and then yesterday it the brakes were not working and I find this today. I'm not understanding how the pad broke but it seems I'm a day late for my return, "A Day" that's crazy and can't get in touch with the seller. Amazon is getting crazy.
