YESWELDER TIG Welding Tungsten Electrode 1.5% Lanthanated 1/8"x7" (Gold, WL15/EWLa-1.5) 10-pk

This information is for those that don’t know what to choose, otherwise I’m not trying to sell anyone type, this is just my opinion. 1958 through present date experience.I only like 1.5% lanthanated tungsten for one procedure. Applying Alum Bronze to a bearing surface on a clutch mechanism. Otherwise I don’t use it. 2% Thoriated (RED) in my opinion is the most useful. The GREY type is great for aluminum in most cases.They all will work, I just have a strong preference what I like to use for a lot of different weld procedures.

I received the Tig rods as expected. I didn't realize they were made in China. I would have purchased others that are made in USA. I haven't used them yet. I'll find out how well they perform.

These tungsten electrodes seem to do the trick, however since I'm just learning TIG, I need to sharpen them frequently. If you let the electrode touch the puddle or stick, you'll ruin the tip. There are online guides to sharpening angles and how to grind, but no matter you don't need it sharp like a needle, the very end can be blunted a bit. Again, reference an online guide for best results.

First time ordering Tungsten but I ordered 10 and received 10. They look good but they don't make my welding look any better, I'm just learning and my welds are horrible!

Very hard to get a clean brake without bending the tungsten. I normally buy from another vender (.... city) and should have not switched. These suck.

The choice of tungsten electrodes is sometime a hit and miss situation. You have to try them to see if they perform as you want them to. I was looking for tungsten electrodes to perform in TIG Welding Aluminum. I have a new welder the Miller Multimatic 220 ac/dc and I still have to play witht he settings on the welder to get the best results I can as an amature welder.

I bought a pack of these in every color, now I just gotta learn to tig weld.

I'm a student in college taking advance tig doing pipe all my tungsten 5 packs are in my locker & have been for months had to buy more to stay in practice by doing horse shoe art .plus had buy a tungsten grinder both works great im ready for class now even more

Expected a sealed 10 pack of new green 1/16 tungsten. Received an open unsealed package of 9 tungsten. Two have been sharpened and have been used. One missing. Product not as described. I have not found a way to contract the seller to have them correct my order. Very disappointed!

seem to work good, create arc easily and don't ball the end alot, eaasy to grind. was vacumed sealed individualy so packaging is nice!!

Works as expected. Package was busted, not a big deal.
