Comfortable and easy to operate. Both my brother and I use the helmet and as my head is small the company sent me a set of pads for inside the helmet that interchange so we are both comfortable in the helmet. We are both looking forward to seeing a difference in our hair growth. As a hairdresser some of my clients use red light on their hair growth journeys and I see their growth.

I’ve been using the iRestore pro every other day for 8 weeks consistently. It works exactly as described. I got the battery pack so I can move around easily and it makes using the iRestore so convenient. I have a small head and when I called customer service they sent me larger pads to place inside the helmet for a better fit. No hassle at all. Also, the iRestore team is supportive and reaches out to me weekly and asks how I’m doing. I’m glad they prepared me to expect more hair loss initially which is exactly what occurred. I’m losing less and I feel new growth coming in.

This device is very easy to use and comfortable when wearing. The rechargeable battery pack is so convenient, I don’t have to sit still while I am using it. I’ve only been using the helmet for 3 weeks so I really don’t know what kind of results I will get, but I am optimistic.

I'm really just getting started on this journey. I've been faithfully using it for 25 minutes every other day as instructed over the past 2 weeks. I’ve been using the iRestore Professional helmet for about two months, every other day. I’m in my early 40s and dealing with hair loss likely caused by severe anemia (I recently had an iron infusion), along with possible female pattern thinning. Since anemia-related hair loss takes time to reverse, I’m using the helmet together with iRestore’s hair-strengthening supplements. It’s still early, so this is a “so far” review. The helmet itself is easy to use, but it initially felt too tight. I have a very sensitive scalp, and to their credit, customer support immediately sent smaller padding for free, which helped a lot. During use, I feel mild tingling and itching—nothing painful or alarming. I did use it once or twice with wet hair before realizing that might not be recommended. I would personally prefer a very clear, simple list of do’s and don’ts. It may exist, but if so, it’s easy to miss. In terms of results, my hair shedding seems to have slowed down by about 50%. It’s still shedding, but noticeably less. One week when I was sick and didn’t use the helmet, I experienced a big shed at the end of the week, which makes me slightly concerned about dependency—but I’m watching that over time. My hair does look fuller overall, likely because I’m losing less. One thing I’m monitoring closely: I noticed a sudden increase in white hairs on the top of my head after starting. That could be age-related, but the timing and location make me cautious. I’m not jumping to conclusions yet. I haven’t started their topical hair products yet because I prefer not to change everything at once. For now, I’m using highly rated caffeine-based and natural stimulant shampoos and washing every other day. My husband tried the helmet briefly and felt like he was shedding more, but I don’t think he gave it enough time to judge. Overall, I like the company’s responsiveness, and while the emails are automated, I actually appreciate the ongoing contact because it makes it easier to ask questions. I’m giving this 4 stars for now and plan to update once I’ve used it longer and added the rest of the system.

I am so happy with this product! I have tried everything for years and nothing has worked but I can tell this is working because there's hardly any hair loss when I get into the shower and I can see the little baby hairs growing! Awesome product! I recommend buying this product!

Final updat: After giving this a shot for over a year I’ve finally given up. Why then give it 4*? Because iRestore stood solidly behind the product, giving me advance and tips and even more time to see if it would work. When it didn’t, they refunded my money without delay or argument, so this was a true no lose situation. So you have no reason not to try it. I’ve tried PRP, topical and oral minoxidil and none of them worked either - but I didn’t get a penny back when I tried. So if you’re considering solutions, I’d start with one of these. Update: I have increased my review by one star to 3 because of iRestore's willingness to work with me to address my concerns - customer experience plays a significant role in my ratings. I will update this review again at 6 months. I also should have mentioned in my original review that I bought the battery accessory with my purchase - my experience with the battery has been a 5 star experience and I highly recommend it. It's not that I use the freedom it gives me to move around a lot, but it's really nice to have the flexibility to sit wherever I want or move around when needed. ************ I'm writing this review after having this unit for 3 months - which is the earliest I-restore says I might see the beginnings of a change. I've been using it religiously every other day for the 25 minute cycle. The unit is very comfortable and a snap to set up. I don't find that my head gets unusually hot or any discomfort while wearing it, although my wife jokes that I look like I'm wearing a Dunce Cap, especially if I'm sitting in a corner reading while using it. My first impulse was to give this a 3 for now, since to date I see no difference, which is not unexpected. I've attached photos of my head from just before I started and the 3 month point. But I'm giving this 2 stars because the 6 mos satisfaction guarantee runs up against the "you might not notice much of a change for 3-6 mos" and I can foresee returning it slightly before if changes aren't obviously happening. Note when I bought this from Amazon, I-Restore was offering a full year satisfaction guarantee (I see the 6 mos warranty on Amazon now, but clearly didn't notice it when I ordered). I guess that they do this to motivate buyers to buy direct vs. from Amazon. At six months I'll update this review with final shots.
