It works fine for what I needed. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

They get better after a few days of use
The boots were incredibly uncomfortable in the first day of use, the inner upper part of my feet were pretty sore, I thought of returning it as soon as I put my feet in them, but with a couple of days of use they've loosened a bit and got much better to wear. My suggestion to whoever buys them is to get the wide version for your shoe size and try them out for a few days.

Best work shoe
My old one gave out after 10 years. Got me new and happy. Was a timely delivery as well.

Not comfortable
I bought these boots to replace my Timberland Pro’s I’ve had for years. I was impressed by how lightweight they were and the laces got them tight and secure. The material is ok, noticed they already started to fray some seams and scrapped the main fabric within the first couple of weeks, but the most disappointing thing about them is they are just absolutely and horrifically uncomfortable. I noticed right away that the sole was rock-hard when wearing them with the insert they came with, and after 1-day of wearing I couldn’t keep them on my feet so I ordered inserts I used in the past to help with this. The new inserts only helped for a few weeks, but now they are back to being just plain uncomfortable. They hurt my feet so much to wear them and I’ve only been wearing them for just over a month. For context I only weigh 145lbs and I’m a commercial electrician, so I need my boots to be comfortable so I can be on my feet as much as I need. Will be retiring these as weekend-winter-around-town-boots and maybe they can serve some purpose.

They leak dirt.
I like everything about them--mostly good quality materials and workmanship and good fit--except, they leak dirt and you have to pull the insoles out and blow the boots out with air to get rid of it completely. I decided to save you all from the horror of posting a picture of my dirty feet after wearing these. You're welcome. You'll just have to take my word for it. It's bad and it's unconfortable. I suspect that the problem lies in the manufacturer's choice of material for the web that connects the middle part of the tongue to the rest of the boot or the quality of how it's sewn in. It does tend to fold away nicely when you put the boots on, but it is either too porous or not sewn in very well, and I think that is where it allows fine sand and dirt to filter into the inside. I happen to have the means to replace that material with something more suitable and expect that it will solve the problem but it might be a heavy lift to spend $70 on the boots and another $20 or $30 at a shoe repair shop to have this fixed, unless constantly having dirt between your toes doesn't bother you.
