A: Yes, but they fit perfect for the shelf I purchased. Its a thick material...but you can cut with a good, sharp pair of scissors.

These fit my shelving unit well, they were a hair too long but nothing bothersome. They did a great job of making a wire shelf more useful and a better use of the space. The price was good for what it is and installation was super easy.
