Made in America. You can certainly move a wall with this bad lassie. Well made and heavy, axe handle is a nice fit.

Perfect for Climbing and framing.
I purchased this hammer for myself after getting addicted to nail starters. I had not owned one before i purchased a Kobalt 19oz framing hammer. It was $20 and the price was right. The handle was polished a slick finish and without some kind of sanding it would slip out of your hands. I solved that issue with some 80 gritt, and it was and still is a solid framing hammer. I got this Vaughn for use in my second work area. I use this hammer while climbing up a 98ft roller coaster to sink 2x6's across uprights for general maintenance work everyday, and it hasn't failed yet. The 19 is perfect for being lightweight and easy to carry around, which is a necessity for keeping it attached to my harness D-rings while I climb up 2x6's and 4x4's up to my work area. The Kobalt works well too, but is too heavy and the handle is too large to take off my D-rings (an isolated problem probably). I know it's a very small breed of carpenters that work on wooden roller coasters, or do climbing of that height, but if you do, this 19oz is pretty perfect for it. The nail holder is a must for reaching out to beams I don't want to climb on and setting nails. Sometimes you can't get both hands off the structure when you're standing on a 2inch wide beam 80feet up in the air -if you know what I mean. It's going to take a few more whacks to get a nail in, but if you're going to have this hammer attached to you all day, you'll appreciate how lightweight it is. Oh yeah, and the blue is cool too.

O Martelo Voughan de 19oz tem um acabamento excelente, bem balanceado e com peso próprio para serviços de carpintaria, gostei muito da qualidade no geral, é a primeira vez que compro deste fabricante e o produto me deixou muito satisfeito. Top demais, recomendo!

it was big to Japanese me. I'm sure that carpenters is knowing that this head makes a mesh design, but i didn't know about that LOL but it's strong and beautiful and really good stuff. 日本人の俺には大きいね。大工ならわかっていると思うけど、この頭は網目デザインを作るぞ。俺は知らなかったんだ(笑) でも力強くて美しく良い物だよ。

Great value hammer. I've been a carpenter for 20+years. Needed a hammer with less jarring then a steel handle hammer. Great shape handle and balance. Light weight for its size. Slips into hammer sleeve of nail bag easily.

Best hammer of all hands down

WOW...WOW...WOW..... Love this ! A real decently made hammer. Good length handle and I much prefer traditional wooden handles, so this feels really great to me. Nice weight and good for a decent swing for "framing" and construction work. The milled face is an expensive "extra" on some hammers, but here it is and its great for wacking big nails with confidence and avoiding slip. Errr.....no, not for cabinet making and delicate things....this hammer is for a purpose and its GREAT!
