Makes Nail Trims Much Less Stressful
As the owner of a Husky, nail trims can sometimes be a challenge, so I decided to give this Dremel grinder a try. It has made the process much easier and less stressful for both of us. The grinder is easy to hold, feels well-made, and has enough power to smooth nails efficiently without being overly intimidating. I like that it allows me to gradually shorten and smooth the nails rather than taking off too much at once. The multiple speed settings are helpful, especially when getting a dog accustomed to the tool. It also runs quieter than I expected, which helped my dog tolerate it better. The battery life has been great, and it's convenient not having to deal with cords during grooming sessions. Overall, this is a quality tool that has helped me maintain my dog's nails safely at home and save trips to the groomer.

Great nail trimmer!
Great nail trimmer! Works really well! I can get all of my dog’s nails done in less than 5 minutes. It’s not completely quiet, but it’s not overly loud either. The battery life is excellent. I’ve only had to charge it about once every few months. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely LOVE This nail grinder for My GSD!!
This has quickly become my #1 Go-To nail grinder for both my GSD's!!!! And the best part is - is that it is wayyy beyond super quiet, as far as noise goes.. so it doesn't make my dogs sketchy or super nervous- AT ALL.. .. BC My old ones used to be very loud, like a buzzer or something.. so. Right Away they would hate it, right off the bat.. now, after switching to these ones. We literally have ZERO issues anymore . I learned about these grinders at work.... I'm a dog groomer.. and my co-worker brought these to use for herself. And my work- provided grinders ended up dying out on me . So she let me borrow hers.. and literally within two seconds of using them, I already knew these were about to be my all time favorite grinders.. so I took a pic of them/ the info... and as soon as i got home, i ordered myself a pair to use at home.. now, I'm about to order anther pair to use at work.... Also, another piece of useful info- in case ppl are wondering.... the battery lasts close to forever and a day! Literally . I've had it for like almost 2 or 3 (OR maybe even possibly close to 4) months now- and I've only charged it twice so far!! No joke.... and I grind my Female German Shepherds nails 2× per week (ever since getting these , i have been faithfully doing her nails all the time- bc it's super easy and smooth process now!!.... ) So, in conclusion, I would definitely reccomend these grinders to anybody and everybody that has a dog.. and I mean ANY type of dog. Big or small dogs would all benefit from having these, FOR SURE!! not a doubt in my mind!! My only regret is all the $$ that I have already spent in the past- on all of these other wack/ useless grinders.. that never worked.... and that did absolutely nothing, but entirely spook both my dogs out on the nail process!! But they're no longer scared of the process anymore- after switching to these quiet, smooth and precise grinders.. also, they're very super lightweight & easy to use in hand, as well!! I could seriously go on & on. But just please listen to me and do yourself the favor and GO GET THESE GRINDERS , before wasting anymore money on other useless tools!! These r the real deal!! •♡♡♡♡♡•

Quiet?
Edit: I’ve been in touch with the company. Seems my unit is likely defective in some way. It SHOULD be running at around 56dB. They’re currently working with me to get it in for repair/replacement. I’ll update/adjust this review once that’s all resolved. The Dremel 7350-PET 4V Pet & Dog Nail Grinder: Well, good news first... It works really well! And it's fast. My dog only weighs 38-40 pounds but has huge, thick, primarily dark nails (her nails are at least as big as the nails on my 85lb greyhound were, for comparison). Clippers seem to hurt her, no matter what brand or how I use them. Other grinders were so slow/dull that it took forever to do anything more than smooth rough edges on her nails. This one zips through length so fast that I can have her feet done in maybe 6-7 minutes (depending on how much she wiggles). Quick and painless, except... The bad news: It is NOT quiet! Ohmygoodness. It's SO much louder than any other nail grinder I've used. I've tried time and time again to adjust how the bit is seated, as that seems to be a big part of the problem (it buzzes like crazy when the bit is in place), however, nothing seems to help. Even without a bit, this thing is still significantly louder than other grinders I've used. Overall, it's better than most others I've tried, so I'm going to keep using this for now. Thankfully, even though the noise stresses out my dog immensely, she's well-trained, gentle, and trusts me enough that if I gently restrain her, she will comply (as long as I don't tickle her toes too badly) and she'll let me bust out the nail trim as fast as possible. If your dog is a scaredy-cat (highly anxious), extra-sensitive to noise, and/or prone to biting when stressed/scared, you might want to consider looking for a quieter nail grinder or earmuffs for your dog. 😬 ***** NOTES on the actual noise level: My Dremel is running at around 85.7dB before even touching her nails. As opposed to the 60.3dB put out by my other, less effective nail grinder. The "Danger Zone" for potential damage to a dog's hearing starts at 85 dB (via multiple articles). "How loud is too loud? Joshua Leeds, the president of BioAcoustic Research Inc., would say that anything above 85 decibels (dB) is too loud for dogs to hear as these sounds could cause hearing loss in dogs (source -Hearing Loss in Dogs 2020). This is what he had to say: 'Above 85 dB, you start playing with auditory fire. Inside the inner ear, irreparable cilia cell damage worsens with [the] length of exposure and higher decibel levels. Your dog’s inner ear works in exactly the same way yours does and has an even wider range of frequency.'" ~Joshua Leeds, President, BioAcoustic Research, Inc., via CrittEar For reference, things around 80 dB (Purdue University - contributed in 1970): Garbage disposal, dishwasher (my modern dishwasher runs at more like 30-35 dB), average factory, freight train (at 15 meters). Car wash at 20 ft (89 dB); propeller plane flyover at 1000 ft (88 dB); diesel truck 40 mph at 50 ft (84 dB); diesel train at 45 mph at 100 ft (83 dB). Food blender (88 dB); milling machine (85 dB); garbage disposal (80 dB). Long story short, over 85 dB is NOT quiet to a dog.

Good option for pet parents and groomers
I am a professional bather of dogs. This is Dremel is definitely more quiet than the provided ones at work. The plug in one we have is quite loud. The cordless one has four settings and is loud at setting 3. I definitely recommend this Dremel. My first dog I tried on was toy poodle; definitely got her delicate little nails down super easy. 407 sander good

Great dremel!
I have a bunch of dremels, but this one beats them all. I love that I don’t have to take a battery off and find the charger and plug it into an outlet. And best of all, it WORKS! It’s easy to use and has a great speed and make quick work of grinding those doggie toe nails down! Best dremel ever and a great price. I highly recommend this Dremel!

SOOOOO Loud & Strong Vibration
First dog I did quickly and efficiently. He's been getting his nails done regularly since a puppy, so he behaved even though he didn't like it, because there's always a treat after getting his nails done. My other 3 dogs had a meltdown and I wasn't sure if they were going to faint or pee with me just turning it on. Forget trying to touch one of their nails with it. They were convinced they were going to die. If you have a calm dog who trusts you and lets you do whatever you need to do, even if they are scared of something, this is a great product. It held its charge longer than my regular Dremel tool with rechargeable batteries did. It trimmed my 45lb dog's nails just fine without having to leave it on the nail too long. Very reasonable price. Easy to use. I was a little irritated it had been opened and used before. I don't mind returned stuff, and it seemed to function fine, but there was a gouge in the plastic handle on the tool itself, and one of the sand paper refills was worn. Probably should have had a small discount for that. I would return, but I'm in a remote area.

It worked so well and fast on my Rottweiler’s nails
I absolutely saw a huge difference using this compared to other devices and I’m so upset that I spent so much money trying to find alternatives because my dog either has sensitive nails or is somewhat triggered by cutters. First time ever I heard her growl when I was trying to cut her nails. I found out very quickly. She did not allow me to cut her nails, and this was a problem. The Dremel system was better, but none of them trimmed nails nearly as good as this. I am so incredibly impressed at how quickly this cut her nails down and how strong it was. That makes a huge difference when a dog doesn’t like its nails being trimmed so it makes a 10 minute process for all of her nails literally an in just minutes. It felt like it had the same sound as every other device, but it was not only strong, but it did not give in like some of the others. Others quickly stopped rotating because it couldn’t endure her strong nails because she is a Rottweiler so she has thick nails. Im going to listen to see if I can hear her Nails tapping on the floor when she walks around the house, but I’m already in love with this. I really thought I was going to have to go to the vet to get her nails cut because she would need a updated rabies back to get her nails cut at any other place anyways. I was literally going to give my dog to the vet just to get her nails cut. I literally did not want her to end up, catching her nail and get hurt. I was so scared for her.

good buy
Still need to distract my GSD with chews while I use this but no other options. Grinder is effective but need to wear mask as there's quite a lot of nail dust
