Little better than mucks. -updated review a lot better than mucks
1st. These are not knee high -even though thats what they say in the description and only reason i bought them. They are about 4 to 5 inches below my knee.2nd. The rubber seems to be a made of a softer material than my old mucks. More flex, less stiff and easier to move in and thus walk in.Also the inner lighning is just a tad softer than the 'cool x' or something named like that that my old mucks had.3rd. These feel a lot lighter than my old mucks which were supposed to be a lighter style.4th. I were a 11 wide. My old mucks were to tight. Not painful but enough were i did not look forward to wearing them unless i had too. These because of the softer material are still a bit tight but feel so much better than my old mucks. The more maluable rubber really feels good.5th. They look pretty good. I got the black and they dont look like you are wearing something cheap.I do like them a lot better than my old mucks. I hate that they don't actually come up to knee high even though that was in the discription. They are lighter weight and more comfortable... how much more... well mine are only a day old from review but so far id at least say 10-15% ... i hope they break in but my old mucks never did after two years of heavy use.I could never wear my old mucks withoit socks even though it felt better because i have wide feet. The material burns! Its not soft like cotton and would shafe the top of my foot after only a few min of walking without socks. This boot has a bit softer inside lining and still does not feel super comfy but i can at least do short spurts without socks.Putting Them on and off-It was such a pain while wearing jeans -tight jeans at that with my old muck boots - to take them on and off. The top of my old muck boots seem to be tapered. trying to quickly take the boots on and off and not having your jeans completely bunched up was a complete hassle, especially if you're on the go -like you need to something quickly- it was a real pain -not much easier than lace up Boots. Also everytime I would slide my foot off without socks on my muck boots the insole would always come off. Making me have to reinser them on both boots everytime. These don't seem to be as tapered at the top, so while my pants do still bunch up a bit, they don't bunch up nowhere near as much as my muck boots -which I hated wearing to be honest. only had to because well even though I had leather work boots that were much more comfortable they were nowhere near as waterproof as my muck boots. so by force I was forced to wear them.In summary: I do like the boots better than my old muck boots. (only 1st day with them so far). They're not perfect. my biggest pet peeve is that I was really looking for something that was knee high and I thought that's what the description said. For me at least they were at least 4 to 5" below my knee just under the top of my calves. They are lighter, at least they seem to be to me, and a lot more comfortable than my old muck boots. I really like that the boot feels a lot light and softer rubber feeling used. The rubber is a lot more manuable and flexible then my very stiff mock boots, so I really do like that a lot, that's a big plus on this new brand. My old muck boots didn't last very long even though I hated wearing them and I didn't use them as much as my leather boots and they only lasted 2 years before they rubbed a hole in the rubber part -just do to wear (no punctures, no rips, I didn't snag it on anything; this was just the rubber wearing down). The muck boots are not cheap and I was very disappointed they did not last very long .After searching I decided on these for the price. The price is very reasonable I think, compared to all the other boots out there (I payed around $110).I don't know how long they will last. I will update, but I hope they at least last as long as my old Muck boots.Oh and yes of course if you're a wide foot these are OK. I heard that the lacrosse boots have a lot of complaints of being too roomy -of course for people with narrow or regular size feet that would be an issue, but for someone that has wide feet -now keep in mind I don't have ridiculously wide feet, just a double E which is just the next size from normal feet -they were a little bit snug but nowhere near as tight as my old muck boots. so while not super comfy they were not painful or discomforting.Hope this info helps some of you, any of you, just my 2 cents here and only my opinion2022 update.Have been wearing these consistently now. Fit is great. Very comfortable. Stays dry. Does not strain my legs walking around all day with them. Been rough on them and have held up strong. Not meant for digging or heavy construction but for everything else 100% awesome. My go to boots unless I have a shovel in hand. Great for wide feet. Fit perfect.

Water proof boot
The outside of these boots have held up to everything. Great traction, nice in mud and snow. I wear them 70% of the year. Only time I don’t wear them is in extreme cold and hot summer days. My only complaint is the inside heel area worn out real fast. Otherwise I would buy them again

Generally nice jobs
Nice quality boots. However they are a little bigger than similar brand boots and are loose. (Hurt my toes from feet moving around inside) Half sizes would be helpful.

Cómodas y cálidas
Calzan Perfecto , y sirven para caminar mucho tiempo expuesto al lodo y frio. Comidas y les trató a mis pies con cuidado y no tuve ampollas

These didn’t seem any better than the dry code boots that I kept
No better than boots that are half the price

Excellent all-purpose tall boots
I own all sorts of different boots, waders, shoes, etc for every type of outdoor pursuit. Everything has it’s purpose. However, as far as tall rubber boots go these are the best. I have Muck Chore, Edgewater, and Woody Max. Each of them are good for their respective purpose. The Dryshod Legend MXT is the best mixture of them all though. If I were only going to own one tall boot it’d be these. They’re super comfortable, lightweight, extremely easy to take off, durable, and waterproof. I would have no trouble wearing these boots for nearly any endeavor from multi-night backpacking, waterfowl hunting, upland hunting, fly fishing, walking the dog, or working in the garden. Once they’re broken in they’re very comfortable even when carrying weight. I have expensive Zamberlan hiking boots and I prefer the Dryshods as long as it’s not too hot. If it were socially acceptable I’d wear them everywhere!
