Art of Landscape Photography

This is one of the best landscape photography books available. Highly recommend!

After 40 years as a photographer i believe this is, by far, the best photography book on landscapes. It isn't a book on how to use a camera. That's what the manual is for. Although they do touch lightly on that. But if you want to learn all about composition, how to control light, and all the other things that make a beautiful image, then you won't go wrong buying this book. Read it, study it, and then practice the things you learn and you'll see your photography greatly improve.The key word here being practice . The photo illustrations are beautiful. Great book.

This is an excellent and lovely book that focuses on the technical but more on the artistic side of composition in photography. The key word in the title is "Art". Key chapter headings: Balance, Depth and Perspective, The Geometry of Composition, Light, Types of Landscape, Processing, Developing a Personal Style. It includes wonderful photos that illustrate their content. This is a keeper that will be read and re-read often.

I wanted to learn more about landscape photography. This is the book to read. Not only is the information invaluable, but the authors back it up with incredible images that make you want to learn to be the best you can be. Excellent book and highly recommend it.

For folks who have mastered the basics of aperture, shutter speed, and basic camera functions, this is a great "next step". One of the better books about image composition and design.

A great book on landscape photography, where the authors go very in-depth on many aspects of composition, lighting etc. Whether you are a beginning photographer or an advanced like I consider myself to be, you will definitely learn a thing or two. beautiful pictures in the book too!

It was a good read. Rehashed a lot of standard rules. And had some new things I never considered. Its definitely worth reading. Highly recommend it.

Great book. Well written, easily understood, and accompanied by photos that visually express what the author is alluding to at that certain point.
