Honey is definitely not the one that is kept to use up in cooking or baking although it could be used that way it is so enjoyable and soothing. I just couldn’t put my spoon away after my first taste. There is a smooth texture and deep flavor that makes me want more right then. I did kind of hide it from myself but scouted it out and will have to save for another soon. It isn’t the larger size but wanted to make sure the price was worth it and I honestly have to say I will buy again but maybe larger jar. I have never been a honey aficionado but I am on that wagon now. Having a serious auto immune disorder I hope this honey also helps with inflammation in my body. Have had Chrons for years and not able to take most newer meds due to age and systemic issues. I am trying different measures to find foods, nutrients, vitamins that make a difference with regard to my overall health, flexibility and reduction of inflammation. With bone fractures for years due to medical treatment at the time of high dose steroids with resulting fractures following for decades of treatment and into present times. To be fair steroids was only drug to be used in large doses for years as no other options had been discovered or at least used frequently. It is great to see there are new drugs and treatments being used and studied to this date. I don’t qualify for these discoveries but happy there are many folks that do and have had good success. Every person with autoimmune disorders does not qualify or need these newer treatments but it is great to know given the past history that newer choices are available and promising but always need and heed your physician’s advice and recommendations. Got off course of my Honey trial but so far it is soothing on my throat which stays irritable and I could feel a light warmth and soothing affect after a couple spoons. I will keep enjoying and hope health benefits follow.
