I’ve had to replace two of the “normal duty” relays (used in a smart thermostat setup). The weak copper arm on those other models seems to bend back over time and eventually stops making contact (which stops the call for heat, in my application).This model has a much stiffer piece of metal on the switch so I’m hoping it will last much longer. Will (try to remember to) give it another star if it’s still working in 12 months

Installed a couple months ago. Only had one instance of the contactor chattering since; couldn’t identify a cause. Hopefully it was a one-time issue.

This relay lasted 3 months. These are great if you really enjoy repairing stuff, as they obviously don’t last. Will look for a MADE IN USA relay.

I used this fan relay to build a WiFi thermostat to control a small floor heater. I combined it with a 24v AC power supply and an Ecobee thermostat.I needed to keep the well pump room above freezing. I also wanted to be able to control and monitor the room temperature. This setup allow me to turn the heater on and off, set the temperature and check the interior and exterior temperature. All across the internet.
