Packaging allowed the end of the filter to be crushed or it was damaged before it was packaged. If you see my pictures, the end of the filter is damaged so bad that it is unusable. The plastic bag the filter was in was undamaged so I think it was damaged before it was even put in the bag.

Filter looked ok but fit was not the same as original Kohler filter. It was about 3-5 mm to long. Install was on a Kohler 29 hp efi motor. At the longer length the filter housing would not shut tight.

Good fit for 2013 John Deere XUV 550.
