Yes, but please read the SDS sheet to make sure you are comfortable with the health and safety warnings. We recommend using "Superwool" blanket for dishwasher blankets as superwool has no health and safety warnings.

Your question is not well defined. This product is thermal insulating material, like a mat of fiber. I wouldn't put it near food because the fibers might get in the food. I wouldn't put it in a microwave as insulating material because home microwave appliances are designed for safety. The air flow area designed into the walls facilitates ventilating the appliance. If you put a blanket in there, you are likely to block the air flow. Can you cook the blanket with microwaves? I suppose but why would you want to?

Can this be used as a gasket material and would it hold under air pressure or is it too porous?

Yes this can be used as gasket material, but it will not hold any significant air pressure unless clamped under very significant force. Usually gasket paper is what's used in those circumstances.
