It smears it a bit if you higlight it immediately. I'll usually let it sit for a couple seconds before highlighting it and it doesn't smear.

if you are only using for signature it will last for a long time. I'd say like 6 to 8 months

How thick is the line when you write? It says in the description, it has a 0.6 mm but in the product information it says 2.0mm line size.

Not sure of the exact size but definitely not 2mm,probably close to 0.6.
