these worked great to reduce the sag from my pvc fence gate. It's been dragging on the ground since i bought the house, and only got worse as time went on. Couldn't figure out why until i realized it was distorted. this cable was very easy to install, didn't need the instructions at all. now my gate no longer drags.

Easy to install and does the job well.

The cable, brackets and turnbuckle are great. When it comes to the screws and the U Cable Clamps they stripped instantly and were unusable. Had to go to the big box anyway and get better quality u clamps to finish the job. Should have spent more and saved more time and frustration

The product was exactly as advertised. Great quality, great price, and easy installation.

works great for wooden fences but will not work on plastic fences

There wasn't much that I liked about this kit. The corner braces were decent, but everything was cheaply made. You'd be better off paying a little more and getting some quality. The screw heads stripped out very easily. You had to be careful not to snap off the heads of the screws. I had to replace most of the screws.The cable clamps did not hold the cable securely. When I tightened the turnbuckle to adjust the gate, the cable slipped, even though the clamp was tightened as far as it would go.I returned it and got a refund.

Easy to put on worked very nice

Poor engineering design. Unless gate is removed from its hinges, there is no way to screw lower corner brackets that is facing the ground, unless you have special drill and screwdriver tools. I wonder if they ever considered freestanding application of the product. I was forced to modify application because of this.
