Just what I wanted and needed!
Mounting was easy (I hope you kept your masonry drill bit from the Ring Install Kit). The Mount can be set to cover a wide area right or left. Hardware supplied was all you will need, sans drill bit. AAA+++

I am giving this a five star even though it did not work for us, this is made for a wide door frame or mounted to the house, for us it was way to big it stuck out past the door way so it would have caught someones arm or shirt sleeve. I was worred since we didnt have a cover and wantd the ring to have a little shelter but ti would not work for our door frame.

Protects my new Ring Doorbell Pro 2
This was easy to install as long as you follow the instructions. It offers different angle options top position the ring doorbell. It will protect the unit from the rain. Good investment for my new unit.

The shade blocks the field of view
I read the 1 star reviews before the purchase, however, nobody posted this. I hope some one had. So here it is. BE AWARE! The shade blocks field of view at the top right and left of the corner. I have a Ring wired door bell. Doorbell, mount and shade were all properly installed. I estimate the total blocked field of view is around 5%. You can actually see the blockade from the ads photos of this product. It is more obvious if you haven seen the field of view without obstruction. Someone may not care, but I don’t like it. This blockage of field of view can be resolved by removing the shade. It still works as a wall mount, but you can see the gap that was designed for the shade. Not obvious, so usable. The field of view issue could have been resolved by a better design of the shade. On top of that, a screw broke during installation. The screw was not sharp enough to cut into the siding easily. You give it a bit more force, the cap got twisted off. I had to use my own screw which has sharper tip. I hope my review can help you make your decision and help the manufacturer to improve.

It's a great item! Unfortunately for me, it didn't fit my ring camera.
