Wow!
We've used this to sight in several rifles and shotguns for deer season. I have personally used this on .22, .223, .270, .308, .30-06, 9mm, 20 gauge, and 12 gauge. It's pretty easy to physically switch between calibers. By default it is set for .22 caliber. Anything between .22 and less than .30 doesn't require screwing an attachment on, just select the correct O ring and put it in the spot indicated in the manual. If you want .30 or larger calibers up to .50 screw in the medium attachment and add the correct O ring if needed. If you are looking for 20 gauge or 12 gauge screw on the large attachment and add the correct O ring for it. The manual shows all the O rings in their proper size so you just have to hold them up to the picture to make sure you have the right one. I've attached a picture of the O rings and the manual. Once you have that all ready, lube the ring with a little petroleum jelly and slide it in as far as it will go. The bore sight is magnetized so the O ring holds it in place in the barrel and the magnet holds it at the muzzle. The device requires a couple of A-76 watch batteries. I've only had to replace them once and that was because laser was either put away on or somehow got turned on in the case.I downloaded the software from the website and thought it looked like it belonged on windows 3.1. After filling in the required information you print out the target, hang it up and start adjusting the sights. The software needs to know what type of firearm you're using: pistol, rifle, or shotgun. It also will need the Caliber, Sight Height, Bullet Weight, Bullet Shape, Velocity, Zeroed Range, and finally Target Range. Some may find that to be a crazy amount of information look up and key in. You can use it as a normal laser bore site and it comes with a card to do that. If you want great results it will need that information, most of which you can find on the ammunition box. The software has an option to Plot Near Zero Range (gets you on paper) or Plot Full Zero Range (dead on.) I only use Plot Full Zero Range because I can still dial in on paper if I want but it should be pretty tight already.I was amazed when a friend shot a doe 270 yards away with a rifle that wasn't even fired at paper after we sighted in. She dropped where she stood. I recommend this product! I've attached a few pictures to show some of what I tried to describe.

You get what you pay for and I think this is pretty good.
I don't write many reviews but I purchased one of ther other less expensive boresights listed on here. When It was installed in the barrel as instructed with the tip tightened with the approiate adapter. I sighted the scope in then I removed and replaced the boresight and rechecked it and it was off target. I rotated the boresight in the gun and I got a laser moving about a 3 inch circle. I think part of the problem was that the threads for the battery compartment were in the middle of the device and allowed slop such that the device was not linear and concetric. Now with this borsighter (Slite mag laser). The first thing I did after inserting it was to rotate it in the gun and no movement of the laser with rotation. Notice opening the battery compartment does not seperate the laser from the tip that goes in the barrel and therefore does not affect the alignment of the unit. I signted in the gun laser and a dot scope and then matched them with each other and it was perfect on. I sighted in a scope to the laser on the gun and then checked it back with this bore sighter and it was perfect. The software could use an update. no 350 legend listed but there was a .35 cal listing I sighted in a 12 ga and compared it to a shell insert laser and they were on. Like others on here I have not fired the gun on a range to check it yet. Most indoor ranges are not long enough to even check the ranges that the program calculates. I was able to use a 14 meter distance in my room so the inaccuracy I expect is the difference between that distance and the real target. This compensates for different bullet velocities and weights and I might not always use the same thing so that inaccuracy will exist unless I recal for each bullet type I buy. You can save each gun and bullet type to a seperate file and of course yo can save the paper targets for reuse. (and yes I needed to use some lube on the o ring) And no I don't work for what ever company makes or sells this device.

laser would not illuminate UPDATE New replacement arrived 20hrs. later!
Below you will find the first issue. I received the replacement within 24 hrs! Actually about 20 hrs.! The replacement works great. Still came with batteries installed which is perplexing to me but there was no issues found when I checked battery compartment. I am not going to speak to the accuracy as that I have used two different ones that friends have and both worked flawlessly so I have no concerns as to how this one will work. I will say that after using the friends units there was no further adjustments needed once out at the range. These units along with the program that works with them are by far the best I have encountered. Just as long as you have the correct parameters for the firearm and ammo inputed you will have excellent results. The more info you input the better! I also want to give the delivery a big thumbs up as well! There is some confusion when delivering to my address as that sometimes the shop behind my house is where they are being directed to deliver to and it is behind a gate. The delivery guy was training a new driver so it was a good learning experience for him to see how to handle the situation. He even went above and beyond to show me what I should put in the delivery instructions for my house.Overall this has been an excellent experience!I received this today but laser would not activate. I tried two sets of new batteries still no joy. I did find it odd that this came with batteries installed. There was no corrosion and those batteries tested good in tester. I believe laser may be burned out. Contacted Amazon though text first then used return/replace option. A new unit is already showing to deliver tomorrow. I'll update when I get replacement. This unit is by far the best unit to use for setting up your firearm. I have friends that have one and have used many different types of sighting tools. This company and their program they developed makes this accurate you really do not need to go to range to verify. Hopefully the replacement works and I can come back and change to 5 stars......
