Good light, but bigger than needed and only 1 battery.
For $40 you get a single 2600mah battery and charger and the UV flashlight. The light is great for detecting stains for deep cleaning (like where your cat puked that you never found), but what I actually like to use it for is security features to verify genuine items. Most money, IDs, cards, documents have some form of UV security feature to tell you that it is genuine but also how mow the bill is supposed to be. The pens businesses use only tell is the bill is printed on a cotton fiber paper and not if the bill is genuine or a reprint on a lower denomination. So it is a great item to have for security/bouncers to verify ID at doors by checking the state UV information is present and the photo in UV matches the photo on the front. It also helps find counterfeit bills before deposit if you don't have a counting machine that detects fake bills.Only complaint is that for the price it should come with 2 batteries so you have one to use while the other recharges. Not a big issue for me since I have 8 18650 batteries for various LED flashlights already, but something they all had for the $30-40 range was 2 batteries int eh 2800-3200mah range so this was the first to only come with one battery and it was the smallest in that price range.

Heavy duty
Great little light ,great heft ,and the bonus charger for battery is awesome, probably been a lil better if it was internal and not needing a separate battery charger.Updated no longer holds charge not sure if its battery or the units itself

My New Favorite UV Flashlight!
I now have a total of 3 UV Flashlights, this one (the BIZOOM C8 365nm UV Black Light Flashlight), a different 365nm model from a different manufacturer, and a 395-400nm model. I am happy to report that the Bizoom outperforms them all, and has become my favorite UV light! For the purposes of this review, I’m primarily going to compare the two 365nm-range lights, as the 395-400nm one is a different class of light altogether, and is far inferior to the other two. I’m not going to include a lot of pictures to demonstrate exactly how much the Bizoom’s UV emissions reveal, as some of them would be gross. But I’ve included a few non-gross shots. Before moving on, I’d like to touch on the physical characteristics of the Bizoom, as well as what’s included in the package. The body of the light is made of a nice black-anodized aluminum. It’s not as heavy a gauge as LED flashlights often are, but it is not chintzy by any means and should stand up well to almost any level of rough handling short of running it over maybe. The end of the flashlight where the light is emitted is a fairly large diameter, so it throws a decently wide beam. There is a very dark filter mounted there also. So dark, in fact, that you can’t see the LED at all when the light is off. You CAN see it a little when it’s lit, but it should be noted that you are not supposed to stare directly into the beam. It could damage your eyes, I’ve been informed. Overall, very nice construction, and the light generally just looks impressive. In the box were included a rechargeable 18650 battery, as well as a surprisingly decent single-cell charger with a USB cable attached for power. Just plug it into a USB power supply. Not every LED light comes with the battery, and it's even rarer to include a standalone charger, so these two items are especially nice touches.I originally started using UV lights to detect urine stains from pets. Also, when we used to have a vacation home in Maine sometimes mice would make their abode there, so I was hoping to find their urine trails also. Unfortunately, the 395-400 nm unit I had at the time didn’t reveal animal urine at all really: Too long a wavelength I guess. I can’t speak for mouse urine now since that problem has been eliminated, but I can say that the Bizoom DOES cause cat urine to fluoresce pretty well, which even our prior 365er did not really do.Basically, whatever our prior 365nm light could do, the Bizoom does much better. I think that the wavelength probably is TRULY 365nm, while maybe our prior light’s output had a slightly longer wavelength. I’m sure the additional filter on the Bizoom, which effectively filters out much of the visible light produced by the unit’s UV LEDs helps a lot also. The Bizoom makes the anti-forgery strips on US banknotes positively pop. We have some accent tile in one of our bathrooms which didn’t fluoresce at all under 395-400nm, and not much under the prior 365nm light, but really glow brightly under the light from the Bizoom. Even more impressive (and mildly alarming) are the imperfections in the walls and ceilings in our home committed by the workmen who built and painted it. Every handprint, every use of caulk and spackle to fill in imperfections is clearly visible when illuminated by the Bizoom, while the same artifacts are completely invisible in natural light and even our two prior UV lights. Amazing!I included a few photographs of things around the house that fluoresced under the light including some jewelry. Some diamonds glow under UV and some don't, and that is clearly seen in the pictures containing diamonds. Also posted is a nice pic of a ruby ring. I excluded any gross or potentially embarrassing shots. If you need a quality UV light to check for counterfeit banknotes, detect pet bodily fluids, scorpions and certain other insects, and to identify certain areas in your home that you really need to clean better than you have been, then you would be well advised to consider the Bizoom. It’s a great light!

Worth it
I ordered this UV black light for hunting fluorescent rocks and minerals. It’s worth every penny of the $40.It works in a lighted room. It works at dusk. It reaches 4-5 feet in the dark. The UV fluorescent minerals light up bright and beautiful.I carry this in my purse.

This light will FREAK YOU OUT!
This light will reveal dirty unsanitary surfaces. As a result of this light I am now triple cleaning and cleaning more often. The light reveals organic matter, oils, blood, sweat residue, residue from smashed bugs and more.My bathroom floor tile is 80 years old. It was the one area that did not glow and show. I have no explanation for this, I can only guess that the grout cleaner chemical worked well. You will freak out when you shine it on light switch plates, door handles, sink handles. Stove front, refrigerator handle, your mobile phone and more.I got this light fir the mineral hunting uses yet have not taken it to the stone yard or in the field yet. Will update in the future after I have taken it mineral hunting.

Worth the price to get 365nm instead of 395nm
