I took one star away because there is no ink included with this pen.

I purchased this fountain pen for, under $5.00, as I prefer a fountain pen and thought if I lose it, I lose it.The pen writes very smoothly, and the converter kit works easily and leak free, and holds a lot more ink than a cartridge would. It also has a good weight, and is comfortable for long periods of writing.Now, I would be unhappy if I lost it; but, it can be easily and inexpensively replaced.

The body is metal and it looks great and personally like pens to be not too light and this is perfect. Really worth the money.

I write a lot, and using this pen has been a blessing. It's comfortable and the ink flow is remarkable. I definitely recommend this pen.

Love it. For a very inexpensive FP it is wonderful. I prefer a heavier pen, the metal body gives me that. I got the F and the EF, I haven't inked the EF yet. IF YOU GAVE THIS PEN A LOWER REVIEW BECAUSE IT DIDNT COME WITH INK, IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO!! THIS IS CLEARLY SHOWN IN THE PEN INFO: “Ink cartridges are not included for safety.”

When I first got the pen I was very impressed with the value for the money. It has a beautiful design and feels really nice to hold and draw with. For the first two months everything was going fine with my pen and then all of a sudden one day it stated leaking big blobs of ink onto my paper. I tried completely cleaning it out, letting it dry and then adding new ink. Also I made sure the converter was tightly on the feed. Sadly it started leaking again rendering the pen useless to me. I gave it two stars because I really like the design and feel but that doesn’t mean I can use it anymore. Bummer because it was a great pen while it lasted.Update: I removed and then re-inserted the converter again and this time whatever I did seems to have worked because the leaking has stopped. I'm giving it the 5 stars now because it really is a great pen for the money now that it's working correctly. I guess it might have been nut-behind-the-wheel syndrome before. Thankfully I seemed to have fixed the error and all is now well!

This is a lovely solid pen. I have a fairly solid fountain pen collection, with years of experience using them, and I am extremely impressed with this pen, considering the price. The nib is a bit on the wider side, definitely closer to a European fine than a Japanese one, and buttery smooth, although with slightly drier flow than I like (easy fix, though). The pen is well built and feels good on the hand. I hope it will hold up a long time, because my first impressions are great. It's not very flashy or exciting, but it feels like an understated quality pen. Highly recommend.

At first, I thought this was kind of a junky pen. It wouldn't work that well. Turns out, I was putting the wrong ink in it. Now that I have actual fountain pen ink to go in it, it works like a champ and has a lot finer flow than my other pens. It's my new favorite to write with. If I ever lose it, I'll cry and then go buy another one.

The quality of build, ink flow, and smoothness of the nib on paper, are all comparable to a Pilot Metropolitan, which would be the same price. The EF nib has a bit of drag when writing, but it is as good as any EF nib I've had on a pen in this price range. I like the solid feel of this pen in the hand, and I like the aesthetics. The cap fits securely and the pen balances nicely when writing with the cap on the end.

This pen is great, it is a little heavy, and it does not come with an ink cartridge in it so you have to buy one separately

For $10 this pen gives you a metal body, nice finishing and fluently ink flow. Really value for money.What I don't like is, I expect it's a fine nib (it offers fine and extra fine) but likely to be medium. In addition, I am not so comfortable when writing with it for long time, not as the other pens. Perhaps it's a bit thin.

The fountain pen itself looks great writes smoothly and evenly good balance, but the cap doesn’t fit tightly enough it’s to loose, but all in all the fountain pen is good for writing in any journal or for important documents, it’s worth the money.

At first the pen is great. After a week, the cap doesn't seal tight. Shame cause the pen has a perfect weight.Update;The seller sent me a replacement pen. The pen works great!Strongly recommend for any occasion.
