Review: Streamlined version of the main game, much more enjoyable. 10/10 - I wouldn't call this an expansion of the game but a game in itself, the rules are slightly different and the game itself lasts shorter. I was not aware at the time of my purchase that the version I got was a collectors edition (no advertising of this was given) so I'm not aware of any differences in quality if there is another version, but the quality of materials is fantastic with internal storage inside the box already being figured out. There is only one flaw and it's one that's carried over from the main game and that's the lack of tracking of 1/3 of the resources on the player board. Otherwise it's a solid game.
Review: A really good game - This is a great game and, in my opinion, it's better than the base game of its bigger brother Terraforming Mars. It's definitely quicker and I really like the artwork on the cards. If I had one complaint it would be that the main scoreboard track is way too small and if a few players are playing it can get a bit crowded. I like the way the player boards are double thickness allowing the sunken track to keep the tracking cubes still, so they can't be knocked, I just don't know why they didn't do this for the scoreboard! Even if it was bigger that would help, but the actual game is excellent.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What printing is this? First or second?**
A: Hi,

It will be the second printing now. Hope this helps. Will.

**Q: Is the quality of the game still very poor as per the previous reviews**
A: My copy seems fine too, bought in March 2020.

**Q: Does this expansion include the double layer card player boards ?**
A: Sadly no this box does not have the double sided boards- they are only in the kickstarter version. However you can buy the kickstarter version direct from Fryxgames website with the boars and it also include additional cards. If you have the retail version you can buy the player boards and the various promo cards for Terraforming Mars from website - take a look !

**Q: Please can you confirm that this is not the collector's edition that has the dual layer player boards and custom trays? As one of the photos suggests**
A: Sorry- I own all the other Terraforming Mars things but not this

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun little engine builder
*by A***M on 4 April 2022*

Much prefer this to the original Terraforming Mars as gameplay is streamlined without any reduction in enjoyment or decision making. The component quality was excellent. Played several times (including solo) since buying this and had very different but enjoyable games every time. A must have for anyone trying to break into the hobby.
