This is the most amazing book I have ever read! Helen Blavatsky is an incredably interesting women. Her knowledge of esoteric wisdom has created a masterpiece! I was told this is Albert Einstein's favorite book and now I know why. I really like the modern reworking of the book. She wrote this over a hunderd years ago and grammer and meanings change over time. Any one who has wondered what the ancients knew will be more than satisfied. Her insight gives a wow factor to the text. Dont miss reading this classic. FIVE STARS

WOW. TOTALLY BRAND NEW,, arrived in 2 days, and its vol 1&2 together. wasn't sure based on the listing,so far very interesting, many questions boggling my mind are slowly coming into fruition, im not a reader at all,(unless a script for a movie tv show or commercial audition, i have only read 4 books cover to cover my entire life, aside from school text books and required reading(which i skimmed through) of course.and im 37 years old,i didnt realize how many good books i was missing

This book is incredible. Gives you more religious history than any book I've read. If you agree or disagree, believe or not it will open your mind and give you a greater perspective.

I bought this book after learning that Einstein was obsessed with this book on his death bed. Definitely read it. I love the whole spiritualism movement and it's got quite a bit of heady philosophy to chew on.

The person I gave this book to gave me a review to post here. They said that the book is insightful as to what is going on with religion today and why so many things are being done today. This book also explains why after World War II the Japanese were forced to remove all religious symbology from their daily lives.

I am a voracious reader with higher than average vocabulary. This book is very thought-provoking and for an erudite, for sure. Very-very challenging read. I literally have to force myself to go back to it. This is a book for a spiritual scientist who is doing a research, not for an average spiritual seeker. Be prepared to be well-versed in classical philosophy and know terminology or brace yourself to a session with a dictionary and Google. Perhaps, the issue is outdated language patterns and the author was not native English speaker. Although, I am not finding flows within grammar, albeit, I am not native English speaker either. In the level of difficulty, I could say this text is as easy as reading a legal document, or scientific paper presented in the academic journal.

This book is a little scratch of H.P.V's work that everyone should have to start the unpacking of the wisdom left for us to find-she made it easy. Connecting to her work also connects you to her' she is still making it easy for us :P

Isis Unveiled by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky is one of the most famous books on and about the Theosophical Society, and Theosophy.I would personally recommend this book to all whom are interested in the occult and or theosophy as a subject or path.

After reading parts of her later book, The Sacred Doctrine, I was afraid Isis Unveiled would be also a slow learning process to get through. The two books are entirely different and have quite different information. Something happened to Blavatsky somewhere in between the two books; she came into a layer of knowledge virtually unknown by the world in The Sacred Doctrine, but Isis Unveiled is informative and flows easily, covering a variety of metaphysical topics.
