I love this board. I have purchased many in the past but this one takes the cake. I love playing chess with my kids and the magnetic pieces allow us to play and not worry if the board gets bumped. The board and pieces look great. The price was great for the quality of the set. The size is much larger than I originally expected which added to the surprise. The weight and feel is sturdy and I highly recommend. Additionally, all pieces have cutouts to where they all go. If you’re like me and have lost pawns or a knight to a set you know the frustration. This allows to put all pieces away and lock the board to avoid any being lost. Highly recommend for beginners and those who’ve played a while.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this chess board. The materials feel sturdy and well made, and the magnetic pieces have a strong enough hold that you can actually play without having to worry about every little movement knocking the pieces over. Great material and value for the cost.We can play on the couch with the kids. The magnetic board makes it much easier to play somewhere other than a table.The board and pieces both have held up to lots of games. Overall, this is a really nice chess set and the quality is amazing.

Bought for my daughter. But it stays out on our table. Love the magnetic wooden pieces. Very well made. No worries about someone jostling the table and spilling pieces.Also comes with a second castling queen in both colours.Note, it is not travel size, but a full size board. Really nice set. Worth every penny.
