These shelves are really solid. They seem to be hard steel and pretty thick and heavy. They seem to be powder coated in black for longevity, and I've seen no chips, scratches, stains, or discoloration of any kind. They install easy since they are individual, so you can align them perfectly with studs in the wall.I use them in my garage to hold up pretty heavy storage bins full of items and they have done perfectly.I like these because they can appear hidden if you put the tab up to be hidden by the wood itself. This makes them appear to be floating shelves.You do need to supply your own wood shelf. These are just the supports.When needed, id definitely buy another pack of these. What a great value.

Excellent quality (heavy duty) and holds stuff in my office like a champ! I am an experienced in mounting things on walls, however I am in a1950's home now and apparently it has no studs, lol. I think I may have actually drilled into the outside brick, but it's doing the job and looks so pretty.

These brackets are sturdy enough for the weight I am putting on them. My husband said if any more weight was going to be added he would have turned them the other way; appreciated that option.

These are great, and give a great look to my floating shelves. They are heavy duty and sturdy and they have great support. It comes with the screws and wall anchors, for ease of use. They only thing I get worried about is that you can only screw part of it on a typical stud and have to use wall anchors for the rest. But they seem to be holding the weight of a large tv just fine.

This is actually my second purchase of these, they are surprisingly durable and easy to install. The screws are a bit long but I had extra from another project so it wasn’t a problem. My first purchase I used these to add a shelf inside a fish tank stand and needed something that wouldn’t take up any space. They are strong and holding a good amount of weight. Next project with them will be floating shelves in my kitchen to boarder around a backsplash and I’m sure they’ll will be perfect for the job.

Very sturdy iron shelving that looks exactly as pictured. I like that you can high the back piece connected to the wall, or have it showing beneath the boards. I have my hidden.
