Lovely, versatile, but needs better battery case and 6th color: purple
Lovely lights, and the 30-count string made it far more useful and versatile than the 10- to 15-count strings I used to get locally. It does have a couple of drawbacks -- one notable, the other minor (or a matter of taste). The cover on the battery case slips off too easily, so you have to carefully position it in a way that does not allow that to happen. My other (minor) complaint is about the color selection: the yellow and orange lights are too close in color, thereby throwing the balance of colors off. I'd be just as happy with four colors, but a better solution would be to add a sixth: purple.

Unevenly lit
These lights lit unevenly the first half is bright and the second half isn't. I prefer all my lights to be as bright all the way through.

Batteries last maybe a week on these before becoming dim. Get the ones with C batteries (these are AA driven.)

Loved these for Christmas and look like pine cones. You can tell when the battery is losing life since they are not as bright. Perfect for my mantle with a toddler and no extra cords hanging down.
