Dear customer, E01-S and E01-L are the same-style glasses that has spring hinges but the different size.,which is suitable for most people. The model E-47 is contrasted differently E01 in lens shape, it is more oval. Here is the dimension of the glasses. No matter what color of Lens you ordered will that be the color that you will see while looking through them?

No, the sunglasses polarize the light. You’ll see everything clearer. The color doesn’t matter.

Can you see the eyes through the black lenses?

No, these round sunglasses are polarized. Other people won't see your eyes especially if more than a few feet away.

Do all of these actually have UV400 protection coating? The "meanwhile" in the description is misleading.

I can't vouch for the UV400 protection but I can say they do block out the sun very well for me.
