OuterImpact Red Dot Adapter/Mount Compatibel with Canik TP9SF Pistol - M.R.A

The Canik TP9 SF has no predrilled holes for optic attachment so I had 2 choices, send slide for milling and drilling or buy adapter plate and remove rear dovetailed sight and use those holes for mounting adapter. That was my direction. I purchased a dovetail remover on Amazon that works ok and it was not really difficult to remove the sight. Directions are important to read as the dovetail sight removes in one direction only. So I mounted the adapter which also camr with exquisite directions and then mounted a Holosun HE 407 Green x2 and bore sighted it with an Amazon x003zw0e99 Choinese made bore light which worked great. Took it to the range and it was awesome with very little adjustment needed. All the tools and mount worked flawlessly as advertised. Good but could be cheaper

Good adapter and easily installed. If your pistol is not site ready, this is a good way to adapt a red dot site to your pistol. The only downside to this is it is expensive for what you get. Granted it is accurately machined and all, but it should not be this expensive for what it is.

screws dont hold to it like they do with optic ready pistols and it wiggles slightly in the dove tail.

I bought this plate for my Canik tp9sf Elite and it fits fine on the gun the problem is I can't adjust the Swampfox Justice down far enough without using shims to shim up the rear of the optic. This plate sits on top of the slide and the plate it flat! Seams to me that the plate should have been milled on an angle!!!! Also the screws that came with the plate don't fit the red dot and the ones that came with the red dot don't fit the plate because they are not long enough! I'm mad at outer limits and Swampfox for not addressing these issues! No I would not recommend this plate for use with Swampfox Optics. Even though the Justice is one outer limits says will fit!
