This cheese can last for up to one year if it is left uncut. It is sealed with wax and therefore does not necessarily need to be refrigerated, but it must stay at 50 Degrees or below. Once the cheese is cut into, it must be refrigerated immediately.

You can not go wrong

This is the BEST! YUM! My family loves cheese biscuits. Hubby takes the cheese and cuts the round in quarters and seals it in the air sealer bags. Lasts a long time, not that it needs to around here. It is so good!I went to buy another one and see the price increase. I thought $61 was high but it is very good, so I paid it. $69 may have me thinking I need to find another cheddar cheese. $14 a pound now...I'll have to give this some thought. Now it is $75, Why does the price keep going up?

if you like cheddar cheese this is the product for you - sure it is 5 pounds but you can freeze some for later the taste is outstanding and if you bought the same product in a grocery store it would cost 3x as much wonderful product!!

Good flavor, good texture, not exactly what I would call "sharp."

This wheel fits nicely into my crisper bin, so I will not change it's texture by having to put it into the freezer.Not crumbly, so it cuts nicely with a sharp, narrow bladed knife.Definitely not what I would classify as SHARP cheddar.This is a very good buy for the money.From the picture, I didn't know whether I would get white cheese or orange cheese; I got orange.I suspect that the two colors in the image might be because their 5 lb. wheels may be made by more than one cheese factory.

This cheese is neither sharp nor bold. It is very ordinary and bland to the taste. Oh, and the Wisconsin made wooden box was not included.The seller issued a refund without my asking for one. I had not intended to ask for a refund as I gave the cheese to someone in need and they enjoyed it.

Delicious hoop cheese

What a great thing to store in your basement during a pandemic so you never run out of cheese! My 9 year old LOVES this cheese and wants no other cheese now. It stores for up to a year (unless its cut) and melts beautifully. Amazon has a good price unless you are ordering in bulk, in which case ordering directly from the company will get you free shipping and a lower total price.
