Blue Sea Systems 7052 Push Button Reset Only Quick Connect Circuit Breaker - 5 Amp

I have an old Lionel train transformer with plenty of power but when a derailment occurs on one track it takes a few seconds for the breaker in the transformer to trip and when it does it shuts down everything, By putting these breakers in line they react much faster and only the line with the problem is shut down. With the newer engines with more sophisticated electronics I figured it's good to have extra protection.

Bought to find low voltage short on HVAC. I bought it to save time and money on replacing 5 amp fuses. This resettable fuse would not open even at almost twice the load. Amp gauge reading 8.9 amps. Don’t waste your money

We purchased a used boat that I knew needed a few things... this was one of those "few" things. Turned out that the aft bilge pump was not working and the breaker was physically bad. Since it was a direct replacement it was easy to replace. Worked as needed, now I need to replace the pump.... now it is "some" things I need!

I purchased these push to reset circuit breakers because they save money in the long run by not having to replace fuses! They are perfect for large amperage lead acid batteries in my solar panel battery set up! I will purchase more in the future as needed!

Could I have found this at one of the local auto parts stores? Probably? But, which one. Rather than drive all over the rural towns nearby, I simply ordered and it arrived a couple of days later. Fit perfect and replaced the blown one on my boat.

installed in 5 minutes no issues. did not knoiw that the 5 on the white reset button is oriented 90 degrees to the long axis of the body so in my dash the 5 is now on its side as I cannot mount it the way the 5 would be correctly displayed

My wood lathe can be turned on with the headstock locked. I new eventually I would turn the lathe on and then I'd get distracted. So I mounted and wired this breaker on the lathe. Yep, just as I predicted, I got distracted just as I turned on the lathe and when I returned the breakers reset button was standing proud.:=)....... I should add that I'm hearing impaired, and my shop vac and ventilation fan are quit noisy..

Good quality breaker, no problems.I was a little worried when the Blue Sea packaging it came in only mentioned it was rated for DC, but I called Blue Sea, they called their supplied while I was on the phone, and verified that the item labeling is correct and it will operate with AC. The time curves are available on the Blue Sea website, along with dimensional drawings, etc.

Saves time running for fuses! Quicker diagnosis tool! Recommended using the right amp breakers for the right amps produced!
