This is the second year I've used this hood. I ordered a new one this year because the pull tie got separated from the inner seam. I cannot recommend this hood enough. While it's not pretty, it's warm and allows me to make my daily walks in comfort. I recommend you knot the pull tie so it doesn't get separated if you wash it. There is a nice movable mouth panel that helps seal up your face up to your eyes. You can close the pull tie so only your eyes show and your whole face is covered. I'm super picky about fabric next to my skin and this doesn't smell or bother me at all. It has a nice give and isn't tight around your head. I wear my headphones under it and there's plenty of room left. If you want to be warm, get this!

New favorite ski gear! Fits snug over adult helmets, loose over kids helmets but the drawstrings make it work for all! My husband, daughters (ages 9 and 4) and I all wore the same size and loved it! Kept us warm in single digit skirts temps. My daughter and I were more comfy in these than our blackstrap balaclavas as they don’t feel as constricting. My other daughter and husband wore both their blackstraps under helmets and these over top.
