TURBRO 42 Inch Electric Wall Mounted Fireplace with Alternative Standing Base - Adjustable Flame Effects, Thermostat, Timer, Remote Control, 1400W Heater

Received the fireplace within a week of ordering which is good. The 28inch electric fireplace fits my traditional wood burning fireplace with about an inch of clearance. The fireplace comes with a metal base riser that can be used if the fireplace opening was larger. The fire looks natural and the image fills the glass window. The only con is no extended warranty was offered. I previously purchased a Costway electric fireplace which did not have a warranty and the fireplace stopped working within 6 months. Costway would not refund or fix the fireplace. I bought TURBO because the reviews were favorable.

I ordered this heater for my guest bedroom. We were stripping wallpaper and updating the room at the time so when it arrived, it sat in my Florida room unopened for about a month. When the room was finished and I put it together , I discovered (after putting the entire unit together) that there was no remote control. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and Marcia responded to my inquiry. She was amazing! She completely understood my situation and immediately verified my mailing address and said a remote would be on the way. She sent confirmation of the shipment with the tracking number. I received the remote; which makes the experience of using this fireplace heater even better! And Marcia even followed up with me after to make sure all was well and that I was satisfied.I know this review should be about the product, which I will get to 😉, but I had to mention the excellent customer service that this company provides. I am so impressed with the ease of the entire process, that as long as this heater keeps doing it’s job, I will buy more of this brand knowing how well they treat their customers.The heater itself is lovely to look at. I bought it for my guest room, but quickly moved it to my living room after noticing how nice and relaxing it is to watch the “fire”. I have a gas fireplace so I just set this heater in front of it on the hearth and it’s very nice.Putting the heater together was a chore for me. I’m usually really good at assembling items when the instructions are clear. These instructions were lacking so it took quite awhile before I got it assembled; but did it none the less! Better illustration would have been ideal.The heater cuts off when it reaches the desired temp and then kicks back on when the room temp drops. The fire continues to glow even when the blower pauses. The timer works great. I am enjoying being able to change the colors of the flames and logs depending on the mood I’m in.I bought this heater as a supplemental heat source because gas heat has become so expensive. It works great for this purpose. I’m enjoying all the bells and whistles on it, but the most important part to me was having a numerical thermostat that I could control. I set this several degrees higher than my ideal room temp and it works well. If you were to put your hand near the area where the heat comes out, it’s quite warm. This fireplace shouldn’t be in reach of small children either as the bottom of the front glass does get quite hot when the heater is running. I am happy with every aspect of this heater and highly recommend it.

This heater is beautiful. It was easy to assemble and it works great heating up a small room. I got the 42 inch and I love it so much i just ordered another one for my bedroom! I highly recommend this product.

I love the fireplace and am ordering another one. The first one had a fluke issue and it was there days past the time allowed for returns or exchanges through Amazon so I reached out to the manufacturer TURBRO via phone message and Marcia called me back immediately. I explained the situation and was instantly reassured that they would take care of it. Marcia was fantastic to work with, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, flexible, and reliable. Once she started helping me she was the one I dealt with through the entire process, not multiple people.I chose to exchange for a new unit exactly the same one as the first one because the issue with the fireplace was a fluke and I know TURBRO products are great quality at a reasonable price. Marcia and I emailed back and forth but Marcia handled everything and let me know UPS would pick it up at my house at which time she would process the replacement. I have health issues so getting the return unit to UPS was an issue. She set it up to be picked up right from my house. She was so prompt and reliable in her responses and the process went quickly. I couldn't be happy with the TURBRO the product and TURBRO the company that not only stands behind their product but understands the value of great employees and the importance of employing stellar people to represent them in the case of an issue. The true test of a company's integrity and its employees' capabilities are when an issue arises.

Mostly very pleased with this electric fireplace, which I chose to wall-mount in a bedroom. Installation was pretty straightforward and didn't take too long. Operation of the fireplace with the remote is pretty easy. Flame effects and overall lighting features are fantastic. Went with the fake logs option.What's not so great is the loud beep the unit makes when changing options, or when the timer is active (it beeps halfway through the set time, and at the end). There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the beep. The mechanism that drives the flame effect is also a bit loud for my taste, but a) that seems to be a normal noise for these types of electric fireplaces in general, and b) it's only noticeable at night when everything else is pretty quiet in the house -- but that's when I happen to want to use it the most.Otherwise, I'm very pleased with it. Looks great for the desired ambience.

Can't depend on it to run. Sometimes the heater just shuts down even tho it hasn't come up to temperature.
