Moana Singing Necklace for Kids Multi

My Goddaughter (age 2) loves this necklace! I know it's recommended for ages 3 and up, but she's fairly mature for her age (though that seems a strange thing to say).She wears the necklace constantly, and easily learned how to open the pendant and press on the "heart" to play the song. That said, the pendant broke from the necklace as my brother was removing it from its packaging; that is to say that it broke even before the baby had a chance to wear it!!! My sister-in-law easily found a way to reattach it, by using some sort of rubber band. I'm not pleased with this aspect, but I love that the baby loves it!!

The necklace is fine, but it's not the same as the one sold in stores like toys r us. That one lights up but does not sing. This one plays music but does not light up. Wish I had paid more attention to the description and reviews. I just made the assumption that it was the same I had purchased for my daughter, and my niece, who got this one, was a little disappointed. There's no issue with the necklace. She just wanted the same one her cousin had.

My daughter lovvvvvees Moana, she wears this necklace every day! Perfect fit for a 3 (almost 4) year old. It will be great for years to come. It only does part of the song. Anyways, she broke it the first day by yanking it off by the pendant. We fixed it with some string and showed her how to properly take it off. So maybe it could be more durable for young kids. But other than that, great, awesome..Kids all around are always asking where she got it.

What can I say - it is made of hard plastic and so it broke after my daughter had been wearing it for 5 hours. I just threaded a ribbon through the "stone" eyelet, so she can continue to wear it, but it was disappointing none the less. Now it is missing the beads and the look of the real thing. When I ordered it on Feb 28th it came with free 2 day shipping but it did not ship until March 5th and we did not receive it until March 7th. Again, a disappointment because it missed my daughters birthday on the 6th. That being said, the actual necklace was very neat, just as described and it plays the song. We love that feature!! None of these issues are that big of a deal, just disappointing, but for these reasons I could not give it 5 stars.

My daughter loves this. This is her second one, however. There are weak points in the links and the hinge of the pendant that could break over time. The first one we had snapped in half on the necklace part. The music it plays is clear. Great for dress up, just be sure to use gently.

My 4year old loved wearing this necklace along with her costume. However, the little metal clasp/bar that holds the shell open and close kept coming out..I had to put a pinch of hot glue to keep in place. Other then that it was perfectly fine.

Batteries are good. Too good. Going on 10+ days of hearing the same 2 lines over and over. The metal O clasp that holds the heart of Tahfiti to the necklace broke in the first 2 hours. Replaced with a sturdier one and no problem since.

My daughter loves this. I took away one star b/c you can't take the "heart" out of the locket and it doesn't light up. But we have had it since Easter and it is still singing and she wears it a lot!
