Works great buy very loud.
It works very well for my 3D printer. Only issue is the fan is very loud and always on. It would ne nice if it sensed load or temperature to control the speed.Update, because I want to leave this power supply always on but not leave the fan screaming when not needed I pulled the cover (which has big letters saying the fan is thermally controlled.) The thermal controller was not populated and was bypassed to be always on. If they are going to cheap out and exclude the temp controller from the fan they could at least skip on the cover stand that says "NOTICE: This power supply is built-in fan on/off control circuit. fan automatically works according to working temperature."Anyway... if you wonder why the fan isn't thermal controlled its because the didn't install the components.

Would have been nice to see a mounting template
Would have been nice to see a mounting template, or at least spec drawing of mounting dimensions; other than that, this seems to be ok so far. Haven't pulled more than a few hundred mA out of it yet, but it seems stable. The voltage adjust trimpot is a bit awkward to reach, but not terrible.I'd recommend this, especially for the price.

Worked grea
It hums all the time. It didn’t do it at first but now it is. Even when the lights are off it’s humming away.

Dangerously higher output than advertised
Power supply not correctly advertised. Item description states 480W but in fact we tested the unit at over 700W.

Very loud fan.
Power supply works as listed but the cooling fan is very loud and cycles on for 20 seconds and then off for 40 seconds. Do not install in living area.

Noisy, but good for the money.
I've had this for around 10 days now. It is driving around 200W of 24V LED RGBW strips (2 x 6m, 1 x 4m) through 3 no. zwave controllers. It lives in a cupboard in the lounge, bolted to a board. The 3 separate low voltage connectors make it easy to wire up the 3 zwave controllers. The 3 connections are interconnected, so you can mix and match if you want. Thus far, I've probably drawn around 50-60W through it.I found it noisy in a quiet room, even inside the cupboard, so I have already voided my warranty by replacing the fan with a 12V silent fan (6cm dia.). That has made a big difference to the noise. It does seem to run a little warm, even when the lights are off, so having a quiet fan or good sound insulation is necessary as the fan is on quite often (although it is the middle of a warm summer in UK, indoor temperature is around 25C). I wouldn't say it runs at "low temperature" as advertised.I didn't find it difficult to adjust the voltage to the required 24V. The pot was easily reached with the unit laying on a worktop before installation. It is holding the voltage with no fluctuations.I didn't find any evidence on the unit that it is certified to UK/EU/US standards. It is stamped with the "China Export" CE mark that looks amazingly similar to the EU CE mark. There are subtle differences and it's worth knowing them. The cover to the connectors snaps open quite easily and doesn't really provide sufficient security against prying fingers or accidental contact with mains voltage. I fabricated a plastic cover that holds it shut and covers the sides (leaving some slots for the cables to come in and out). If it is installed in an accessible location you may need to consider this, bearing in mind the need for ventilation through the slots and fan in the top.All in all, I'm happy. For the money, this is doing the job well enough, and an extra £8 for a new fan sorted out the noise problem.

Well made and powerful PSU for my 24V 3D Printer
Update from a less powerful PSU to this after adding 24V LED strips to illuminate the build plate.Old PSU would run the fan on high constantly, this PSU barely turns it on once in a while, even with a long print going on.Well made, not top notch quality like MeanWell PSUs but significantly cheaper and still good quality. No weird smells when using it for the first few times, so that is a plus too.Well packaged and the included piece of paper with the connections explained and specs should be more than enough for any hobbyist to get up and running.Would buy again.

Qualität geht in Ordnung.
Wunderbar :)
