This is a product you will not see results overnight with. But PLEASE listen when I say "stay the course" and give it a fair chance to work its magic. I have been using HERS consistently for about a year. The pictures shown are of day 1, and then at about 6 months into the treatment. After about 3 months I noticed new baby hair growth coming in. Then at about 6 months was when I really noticed the difference when comparing pictures. Please note, I also only use this product once a day in the AM. You're supposed to use it twice a day - AM and PM, which could have a more positive impact on your results. I would also like to mention, even though I still have quite a bit of shedding, it is balanced out with continuous new hair growth as I keep using the product. I do have to use it all the time to maintain new growth. At one point I quit using it, and my hair quickly thinned out again. To me, using this regularly is a small price to pay to have a little more confidence with my thinning hair concerns. At one point, I tried a generic version because it was less expensive, but it left my hair greasey and oily! This is the only one that I have found that I can use in the morning and not have it leaving my scalp looking like I haven't showered in a week. Everybody responds to treatment differently, but please give it a fair shot of 3-6 months before throwing in the towel! My hair will never be as full as it once was, but this product has helped restore a little bit of my confidence. I hope you have positive results as well!

I have age related hair loss - which is what this product is designed for... i use the serum. Last exactly 30 days if you're putting it on twice a day - use EXACTLY the stated amount. I apply it to dry hair, tiny 'squeezes' all over my scalp. I dont even massage it in. Dries quickly for me and does not leave my hair feeling greasy at all. It actually has seemed to help with the styling of my hair. I am in my 8th month and there is NO question that this is working. I used to have thick curly hair and very very slowly for ten years it became thinner and thinner until the hair shedding was so much towards the 'end,' that I was having severe anxiety over it all. My hair stopped shedding and started growing so so much. Like in the instructions, it states, hair will start shedding significantly more for approximately 10 days before it stopped shedding. Mine definitely did that - dont freak, dont give up. The only thing I don't particularly love is that I can't wash my hair only once a week like I had been for years. And it's not because of what it's doing to my hair, it's what it's doing to my scalp! If I don't wash my scalp after two or three days it just becomes way too itchy. I'm in the process of figuring out what I can do to mitigate that, homeopathically. It also says there's a possibility that you might grow hair and other places, and oddly enough, I am! There is about five or six small hairs that have started growing underneath my bottom lip! But, I don't care, I'll pluck those suckers out for having my full head of hair back! Also back of my neck, but theyre more 'baby' hairs. Every time I've ordered this it has come in a timely fashion and appropriately packed.

I’ve been using Hers Minoxidil 2% Topical Solution for just over a week now, and I’m already blown away by the results. Full disclosure: I'm also taking an oral daily prescription from Hers that includes several ingredients, including biotin and Minoxidil. I decided to do both because my hair loss had graduated from wide parts to larger patches of thinning hair in my crown that forced me into "combover" hairstyles that were just....depressing as a woman in her late 40s. I started using the oral pill first and the liquid solution a week later. First off, application is incredibly easy—just a few drops on the affected areas of the scalp twice a day. The solution dries quickly and doesn’t leave any residue or greasiness, which is a big plus for me. The key is to massage it in, don't fill the large dropper all the way and hold it upside down until you have it over the application area. Then gently tilt the dropper to apply it. You'll control the liquid more easily and avoid wasting it. To get ahead of dry scalp, after the product is absorbed, I follow it with a few drops of argan oil a couple of times a week. The real magic started happening around day five. I began noticing tiny, soft hairs sprouting up where my hair was thinning. The product is perfect and I love it, but if I paid for 2 pack $28 I just receive one !! That’s so bad !!

First let me say i NEVER write reviews with photos but thought this review required one. Shortly after I turned 50 my plentiful head of hair was starting to shed. I thought ok no biggie, but it was shedding and NOT filling back in. Two years in I must have lost atleast 40% of my hair and it was painfully thin showing scalp up front by hairline, a very wide part on top and a bit at the back of my head. I tried vitamins, shampoos, all natural solutions…nothing. I finally was told by a female doc after seeing my blood panel “you are in full blown menopause and the hair loss is why. If want to try to get some growth back try minoxidil. I had before early on but it was 5% solution and gave me heart palps. She said to try the 2%. So I landed with Hers line because it also had no scent and easy to apply. Long story short I committed 3 months to this product which is what it requires to know if it will work for you (yeah its a risk). First month my own hair shedding stalled a bit and I was happy. Month two I wasn’t sure it wasn’t doing a dang thing, at the start of month 3 my hair was shedding MASSIVELY and I panicked. But I reread the information on the website and if you push through that scary shed cycle when your scalp is push through all fresh (almost baby like) hair…you know it worked. So here I am on month 4 and 1000% have more hair than I did. Is it what it was pre-meno, nope and I wouldn’t expect it. But i can feel way more confident again and no longer need to pack “hair fiber” products to camouflage my scalp. I just had to let people know that it was a long road but it did work and I am grateful. I will need to use it for the rest of my life but so what? By now it is just 2 minute addition to my end of night cycle of getting ready for bed. I am so grateful to have tried and committed to this product.

It's to soon to notice any difference but the ingredients contain alcohol how is that supposed to help my hair grow. I will not be using this product anymore

I’ve used both the serum & foam. I have age-related thinning hair loss. I had a really bad allergic reaction to the serum & saw that hives, itching and swelling are rare side effects, but I guess I’m in that group. But the foam doesn’t have the ingredient which causes those reactions. It is fantastic. My hair is now actually thick again & very soft. Consistency is necessary. I’ll sometimes go a week or two without applying the foam to my scalp & my hair thins. Here’s my tip on how to apply the foam: Just put a small amount in the palm of your hand & rub it into your scalp. If you add a huge amount in one go, it’ll end up in your hair instead of on your scalp which is where regrowth happens. It’s expensive, so don’t waste it. I wish I’d done it sooner & applied it every day because now, I can’t believe how much it has helped. It’ll probably take months for you to see results, but stick with it, it’s worth it. Seriously. I’m thrilled.

I have been using this product for several years and have found it to be very effective. Also less expensive than some other name brands.
