Is more of a dull bronze colour very basic and disappointing also came damaged

Pretty but not practical.
A very pretty star. I liked the idea of batteries rather than running the cord down the tree. However, there is no timer. I assumed it was the kind that once you turned it on, it would stay on for a few hours then turn off and come on the same time every day. Once it is on the top of a 9' tree I can't reach it to turn it off. Therefore it is just on until the batteries die. Which I assume will be quickly when it is on 24/7. Disappointing. I will have to try to find a timer strand of lights to restring it.

Design flaws spoil this item
Unlike the website picture the lights on the star received were randomly distributed and not at the points so no star shape is recognizable in the dark when the lights are on. Also the gold frame becomes virtually invisible.In addition the conic mount seems uniquely difficult to attach to a tree top, especially with the weight of the battery pack that has connection only a few inches long. Had to run a skewer through the star into the tree and secure with zip ties to achieve stability.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM IF YOU EXPECT ANY KIND OF ACTUAL LIGHT FROM IT.
I am not one of those disgruntled buyers who just goes off on everything, no matter what. I am very willing to live with items most of the time, but this "star" was very poor quality. The frame is nice, but the lights are HORRIBLE. The string was wrapped around the star frame very poorly. The LED's barely put out any light. Please save yourself from the waste of time, and do not get this item.

Not practical and heavy.
I was disappointed in this product, I will be returning it.1. It’s heavy when the batteries are in so it’s hard to get it straight and keep it straight.2. It has no control or anything so once you turn it on and stick it on a 9ft tree; you have to reach it again to turn it off. It doesn’t turn off on it’s own.3. It’s cheaply made. The wires are stuck on poorly and there is even a zip tie on it.Not for me, it might be perfect for someone else but doesn’t work well for us.
