Dont deluded it with cloudy ice, full of impurities. Learn about this "clear ice" it will look glass when correct. Freeze ice in a stainless cup. Pour warm water and bang it upside down until the ice lounges out. The 10 percent at the bottom of the ice block will be cloudy. Cut it off with a knife and discard . The rest of the ice block, use something to whack it and the rest can be put in a plastic zip up .place a towel over it a hit it a couple times to get the ice broke up. When ordering, I was concerned that they wouldn't be colorless, but they certainly appear to be so to my eye. The design molded into the heavy base looks terrific, and captures the drink color when the glass is full. While taller than wide, it easily accommodates a 2" cube or a 2.5" sphere. I bought my first set just to see what they looked like in person - I bought a second to round out the number of rocks glasses available here at the home bar. The packaging they ship in is great, both protective, and presentation worthy, with cut foam completely surrounding the glasses. If you're looking for a gift idea, these would be a good choice. Pair it up with some clear ice molds, and they'll be genuinely appreciative.
