Great value and outstanding customer support. I notified Amazon that the extra XLR cable was missing from the package and that it wasn’t a big deal. However within a matter of hours I heard back from the company and the missing XLR cable was on its way via FedEx. Would definitely buy from this company again.

I now own this product and after heavily contrasting it to the more popular Shure SMB7 I can confidently say that the Heil PR-40 out preforms the Shure SMB7 in rooms and environments that are not fully sound treated. However the only statement I have to anyone considering buying this microphone is that if you are considered purchasing this microphone you will need to buy a pop filter as well as an audio interface. If you are not considering getting an Audio Interface please understand that you will not be able to receive the full quality of this microphone and your microphone input will be harder to hear without it. Supported Pop Filters include the REPOP-320 (comes in black) as well as the REPOP-27. And I highly recommend the Scarlet Solo for the Audio Interface, it is incredibly easy to set-up and use!
