Therefore, the knife will not require frequent sharpening and, if necessary, it can be sharpened using small pocket grinder. Cutting edge is sharpened using Plain technology – smoothly. This allows to make smooth and precise cuts on almost all materials. This knife is suitable for cooking during the countryside trip and to make certain household tasks. The knife blade strength is added by a rather thick butt – 0.33 cm. The hold of knife is comfortable due to its straps made of glass-fiber polymer G10. Review: You won’t be disappointed! - I’m going to talk about the elephant in the room right away. Yes it’s similar to the Spyderco Para 2. If I’m Ganzo why not make a knife that is popular as the Para 2. This Ganzo knife holds up on its own. The fit and finish is done very well, comes surprisingly sharp out the box. The 440C steel is a great steel fo the price point. Has amazing edge retention, and stainless. People seem to sleep on 440C good edge retention for the price. Way better than, 8cr13mov holds an edge even better than 14c28n. I would put it near D2 when heat treated right, and Ganzo does a good job on their heat treatment. The G10 is nice the thumb hole has good access, and the cross bar lock works amazing, with great action. Now I’m not going to sit up hear and tell you that this knife is as good as a Para 2, which I own as well, but for most of us who can’t go out hear and spend $200+ dollars on knife’s this is a very nice affordable alternative.

A: None that I know of. You could go to the Ganzo knife website and check to make sure.

**Q: Is this knife made in black?**
A: Not that I have seen.

**Q: Does this have washers or bearings in the pivot?**
A: I purchased my orange scaled G729 about 3-4 months ago and ass soon as it arrived I took it apart to clean it and tune the Axis lock springs. The washers are a mix of brass/bronze on one side and a nylon washer on the other. 
This is not the best setup for a fidget knife but washers are definitely best for a work knife. It's a smooth opening and shutting knife but it's not going to get better over time like one would if it had bronze washers on both sides and after the knifes breaks in. Still a great knife and buy under $20👍

Ganzo/Firebird are very budget knives. They function well and are usually made of older materials like 8cr and 440c. For $20 this is a good knife. The omega springs are to strong and not adjustable, the axis studs are too short making it more difficult to operate. Everything else about this knife is decent and worth the money. This knife has only two similarities to its Spyderco counterpart, how it looks and the blade does have a full flat grind. It does not operate smoothly like a Spyderco, it does not feel refined like a Spyderco, it weighs more than a Spyderco. Like other reviewers have said, if you want to use and carry a knife that does look like a Spyderco then this is a very inexpensive option for that.
