Great idea, and far better than the OEM laser on my miter-saw.
My miter-saw came from the factory with a built-in laser. Problem is, as you use the saw the laser tends to wander, until ultimately you can't rely on it, at all. This is a super solution to that problem. It mounts directly onto the arbor, on top of the blade (on the side) with the nut locking down on it. This gives you a very consistent, and very accurate platform. I am extremely pleased with the improvement in the accuracy of my saw. It even comes with the batteries included. This is such an easy fix, and works so well I cannot help but recommend it. I also feel that it's an extremely good value.

Compatibility with Rigid 12" Compound Miter Saw
First off, the laser works great. The blade needs to be spinning. I wish there was a way to have a full 360 laser that would delay it's shut off. So you could blip the trigger to turn the laser on, and have a few seconds to line up the cut before pulling the trigger again and plunging the blade (I sometimes run my saw on a battery power station, so i like to conserve power. Plus I don't want to run the blade, for fear of my hand slipping when adjusting the wood position). But these shoot a narrow beam, So that won't work. Even if it delayed shutting off, the laser could be pointed any direction when the blade stops. But the laser works well. If i make a mark. And center the laser on the mark, then the left edge of the blade will cut dead center on my mark. If cutting something very thick, the blade guard can get in the way of the laser. But for 2x4s and trim, this won't be an issue, as you can lower the blade a little while on the trigger, and the guard moves out of the way, allowing the laser line to project on to the wood. I was worried about compatibility with my Rigid Compound Miter Saw. I couldn't find anything more than "It COULD be a problem". After much research, I had a good idea what to do. I have the R4222 model. There is no pin on either flange. But the problem is the arbor is 5/8, and the OEM blade, and most replacement blades for 12" saws, are 1" arbor. Rigid packed a very thick washer, also called an arbor reducer, with the saw. It is too thick for the laser to work with. The solution is to buy a pack of thin arbor reducers ( I bought a pack on Amazon for $10. came with 5 sizes, and four of each size). I was able to stack 2 ultra thin arbor reducers (1" to 5/8") on the arbor, then mount the blade, and then the laser (you store the factory flange and stock reducer, in case you don't want to use the laser in the future.) This allows the laser to sit flush on the blade. This means the laser is tight to the blade, and the laser body is pressing against the blade, holding it tight (no wobble). That's it! If you have a pin on the flange, then I don't have a solution for you. I read that some people have had success grinding the pin down. But I didn't have that issue. YMMV.

Worked.....with modification
Many times on my old (30yrs) Dewalt DW-705 Miter saw I had wished there there was a laser to pinpoint the exact cut line, like most modern miter saws have. I've seen the 𝐎𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐆-𝐌𝟎𝟏 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 on Amazon for a long time and finally decided to try it on my DW-705. In past reviews I've read some comments about the laser housing being too thick and rubbing against the blade guard housing. Ohslun mentioned that this newer model was thinner and fit more saws so I thought I'd give it a try. Installation was as simple as removing the orginal spacer and replacing it with the 𝐎𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐆-𝐌𝟎𝟏 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞. I tightened down the blade retaining bolt and fired up the saw. My first reaction was well, the laser works, looks accurate but it was making a heck of a noise and seemed to be vibrating a little. I stopped and unpluged the saw and removed the laser guide. On close inspection of the laser guide I could see that something was rubbing against it (flub). I completely removed the blade guard to see what the situation was by removing the 3 T30 torx screws holding the blade guard assembly to the saw. What I discovered was that the laser guide was rubbing in one little area of the blade guard housing. Now that the laser guide had scrape marks on it I couldn't return it so I started thinking about a fix to see if I could add some clearance between the 𝐎𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐆-𝐌𝟎𝟏 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 and the blade guard housing. The fix was easier than I figured it would be. One little flat washer mounted at the front and the rear blade guard mounting screws in such a way as to add 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 enough clearance between the blade guard and the 𝐎𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐆-𝐌𝟎𝟏 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 so that there was no more rubbing between the two surfaces. I Fired up the saw again and this time everything was nice and smooth with a clearly visible red line at the point of the cut. (I purposely positioned the laser line 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 a bit off the pencil line to show everything is square). Lastly, I also discovered that a "thin kerf" blade may need no modification at all as I noticed more clearance between the 𝐎𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐮𝐧 𝐋𝐆-𝐌𝟎𝟏 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 and the blade guard.

It Works!!!
I’m quite happy with this accessory. It was easy to put on and doesn’t get in the way of anything. I put it on my 10in Bosch glide saw. I didn’t have high expectations for this but it is extremely accurate. I never take the saw out of my shop but I could maybe see on a job site or having it outside, that the laser might be hard to see. I haven’t tested this but in my shop, I have no problems at all seeing it. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of putting on a shadow line accessory and this seemed like a good value. I thought maybe it was going to be too large but like I said, it fits very well and doesn’t get in the way of anything. It’s been going strong for 6 months now and I’ve had no issues. Again, I haven’t tested this theory but I think it’s design will allow it to be used on just about any miter saw.

Brightness comparison against Ryobi Miter Saw Laser Guide
I bought two of these to add to a Ryobi TS1343L 10 Inch Miter Saw, so that I can have a laser guide line on both sides of the blade. There is a company who sells dual laser guides, but they do not list this saw as compatible, and I read reviews for the Oshlun brand in which an Oshlun company representative is quoted as saying theirs are brighter than other brands. Since the one Ryobi uses is all but invisible in bright daylight, I was hoping to improve the situation. The first thing I did was remove the saw blade, and mount one of these Oshluns next to the OEM Ryobi laser guide, and run the saw. The lines are identically bright. I do not see any more brightness from the Oshlun at all. There is one thing the Oshlun LG-M01 has going for it that the Ryobi laser guide cannot do. The Oshlun model will work no matter which way you mount it on the arbor. The Ryobi model that came on the saw MUST be mounted with the label side out, or the laser doesn't come on when it spins. Because I wanted to use dual guides, I need to have one replace the inner blade washer, and so must be mounted in reverse to keep the laser close to the inside of the blade. Note the round hole on the face of the Oshlun in the picture shown in this review. Ryobi uses a "D" shaped hole all the way through the guide. The back side of the Oshlun has a similar modified hole which is about 7/16" by 1/2" rectangle with rounded corners, to allow it to slide onto the flats on a typical 5/8" arbor shaft. It is their intention this guide be mounted right under the head of the blade bolt, so the smaller round hole on the face of the device works fine if used singly as intended. But to make it slide to the inside of the blade, I had to machine the round hole you see in the picture to match the contour of the rectangular hole on the back side. Once I did that, it slid into place nicely, with the label side toward the motor, placing the laser along the inner blade edge. I then mounted the blade and the Ryobi laser guide, and was able to use the OEM bolt, with plenty of threads screwing into the shaft. It works very well, showing a line on either side of the blade now when the motor is started. There is a slight difference in the positioning of the Oshlun's line, such that after a straight cut is made in the stock, the inner laser line falls IN the kerf, up against the inside bottom edge. The Ryobi guide's line on the outside of the blade remains on top of the edge of the cut after it is made. I was able to correct most of this by adding a paper shim washer between the blade and the Oshlun guide, much as you would do to fine-adjust the width on a set of dado blades. Because this worked with the original Ryobi guide, I did not open the second Oshlun guide, and will keep it as a spare. I was hoping to see a lot brighter line from the Oshlun brand, to make it easier to work in the sun, but the brightness of the 2 lines is equal. It is fine for indoors, even in a brightly lit shop. But for bright sunlight the laser lines are only the tiniest bit visible if you look very hard to see them. Oddly, the Ryobi brand uses a pair of LR44 cells, and the Oshlun uses 3 of them. When I saw that I thought it might be brighter, but it is not.

Worked perfectly, wish there as a delay once blade not under power
Worked as advertised. Had no issues putting this on or the accuracy of the laser to the blade tip. Something mentioned in a review I looked at before purchasing would be helpful. If there was a delay of 3-5 sec after powering up the blade (so you can adjust your intended piece being cut) would REALLY be helpful. This would eliminate the constant 1) Power blade 2) check accuracy 3) adjust 4) power blade again 5) make adjustment (and repeat).

Fits AEG PS-305 DG - may need new M10 LHT arbor bolt, depending on your fitting.
I purchased the Oshlun LG-M02 laser guide for my AEG PS-305 DG 12" compound mitre saw. The existing laser guide on the saw had broken and was no longer available. The Oshlun laser guide works well on this saw, however I had to replace the existing counter-sunk M10 left hand thread arbor bolt with a non-countersunk bolt (30mm worked well). Based on my personal experience, I would recommend this device for the AEG saw if the original laser guide part fails.

O produto é muito robusto e cumpre o que promete. Muito preciso na indicação da trilha de corte. Apenas aconselho a verificarem a compatibilidade com a sua esquadrejadeira, no meu caso, uma Stanley SM-18, tive que fazer pequeno (0,5mm) ajuste na arruela do disco, para que o laser desse o aperto necessário ao disco. No mais, funcionou com muita precisão.
