Ostrichpillow Eye Mask 3D Sleep Mask, 100% Blackout Pressure-Free, Washable

I have tried a variety of face masks. From beads to fluff to foam, and none have helped with the “Core Challenges of Face Masks” which I list below with commentary on this mask specifically: 1. Eye Comfort This mask is incredibly comfortable. It does not push on the eyes, touch the eye lashes, or make itself known when doing activities like meditation, OBE’s, or Lucid Dreaming. The eye holes are the perfect size for my head and face shape. 2. Ear and “Head Muscle” Comfort This mask doesn’t cause pain around the space between my ears and head (no rubbing, no bulky bands). This mask doesn’t SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF MY HEAD to get to absolute darkness and cause headaches. 3. Darkness These things get DARK. I put them on in the middle of the day in a very sunny room and no light peaks through. No little holes, no aura. It is COMPLETELY DARK. Honestly, the darkness mask I’ve ever worn. 4. Aesthetic/Design I wouldn’t be surprised embarrassed to wear these in public on a plane. 5. No Unnecessary BS Straight to the point, they focused on what matters for a mask. No Bluetooth (because why does EVERYTHING need Bluetooth) or gadgets that you don’t need for sleep. - - - I’m incredibly satisfied.

OMG, these are so comfortable and tons of room for your eyes and lashes! Soft, molded, light blocking and comfortable! When I put them on there are no buckles on the back, just velcro and the light was totally blocked out, no pressure on the face and no pressure on the eyes. Yes, they are molded, but the material is firm but sturdy. Lightweight! THIS is worth the $40-something price! Exactly what I was looking for. When Brookstone was around, they had a soft, cup-type eye mask, but this one is lighter and better than what I remember. If you're one of those ladies with the lashes, then I think this might be a good bet!!!

I really liked this eye mask. I love that they made space so that you can open your eyes while wearing it! Not sure why that’s important to me, but it is! Because I have sleep apnea, and a small face. The sleep mask just didn’t work for me, having two straps going around my head for different things. It’s expensive, but I understand why. It’s so light weight and well made! If I ever over come my sleep apnea, I will definitely buy this again! It would be perfect for air travel!

It’s a bit warmer than the description indicated, and it can be a bit tricky to get it tight enough but not too tight. But the mask provides total blackout.

After many years, I have tested more than 10 eye masks in different shapes, and different prices. Even though this one is one of the most expensive, I have to acknowledge that this one is the best for someone who wants 100% darkness without any question. For example, this mask is perfect for mediation and palming. Also, this eye mask is suitable for a traveler who wants to sleep in a bright light situation like airplane. Comparing to other face masks: 1-The structure of this face mask is perfect, because as you see, the cushion of the mask is made of soft foam, which can stay on your face for a long time 2-This eye mask is really ergonomic because the foam of the cushion is very soft and flexible. After a few minutes, it becomes like a part of your face, and you do not even feel it. 3-Why, comparing to other eye masks, this eye mask can block 100% of the light? The answer is simple, because the cushion of the mask covers all around your eyes, and stretches to your face sides completely. As a result, no light can penetrate inside. Other eye masks have a loose cushion, which partly cover your eyes, and of course partly block the light. 4-This eye mask may not be suitable for a side sleeper, and should be put on and see how it works 5-This eye mask has a robust structure and material, and after wearing for a long time, it does not move or even rotate at all. 6-This face mask is like a 3D face mask, and you may wide open, or move your eyes while relaxing 7-And here is the most important advantage of this mask, which elevate this mask to a higher level: Although this mask is very expensive, I have to say it blocks truly 100% of the light. Unlivable! Why I repeat this factor because most of the face masks say they are total darkness, but in reality they are not, even more, after wearing 2-3 times, they loose their stability! What I have not seen in this face mask at all.

Its likely to early to write this review but night 3 of using the mask and I'm in love. It fits perfectly and I tend to roll around alot. It stayed on tight all night. I also sleep with a Cpap machine and I've had zero issues. I'd recommend this to anyone thats on the fence about sleeping with an eye mask. Its light weight, blocks the light and didn't get too hot.

It completely seals light out but the foam surrounding the eyes is too hard for my liking and I’m unable to relax when trying to fall asleep. The strap to hold it in place is adjustable but I still feel the foam pressing into my face. I really wanted to like it but I found another option that has softer material so I am returning the Ostrichpillow eye mask.

I had high expectations because I really like this same brand’s travel neck pillow but this eye cover is just ok. The band that wraps around the head is stiff and the Velcro snags easily. The adjustable part is uncomfortable when laying on a pillow as it digs into your head when compressed as your head does when laying horizontally. Even on an airplane, I was uncomfortable when my head was flat against the headrest. The seal under your eyes and bridge of your nose was also not great unless you tighten the band super tight which again was uncomfortable for me. So this allowed quite a bit of light to infiltrate. I may be more sensitive to pressure around my head than others, but this product did not work for me.

Best Mask I've have used , helps me sleep when I need total darkness 🕶️, I don't use it everyday, sometimes I want to sleep with no mask, when I want to sleep after woken up to go bathroom or early morning prayers , which makes to sleep again not easy , so use this sleep mask to sleep for 2/3 hours , almost ALL the time I get super deep sleep 😴 . Forget the SUPER EXPENSIVE m*nta sleep mask , this is the BEST SLEEP mask I have every bought and used , it's expensive, however sometime they do offer on it , it's worth more than10 cheap mask , and it's as good as the most expensive mask m*anta sleep mask ( although I don't own a m*nta sleep mask , I don't need as I have the OSTRICHPILLOW SLEEP MASK ! 😴😴😴😴😴😴

Only mask that truly lives up to it's claims. I travel frequently and work Air Ambulance, and need to sleep / nap when it permits. This product is indeed expensive but if you can take the plunge, it's the absolute end point in sleeping masks. Comfy, and freakishly a complete and utter blackout!! But isn't that what we want? Just do it and buy it. You won't be disappointed!
