My concern is with the expiration date. From the date these cookies are made, they start a shelf life just like anything else. As it gets older it loses taste and starts degrading. I loved these cookies as a kid ,but the ones I received were bland and had crumbs all over them. I looked at the expiration date and knew processed foods don't hit the customer's doorstep with that short a shelf life. It's a fact with anything you buy. I'm sure my cookies weren't manufactured the day before I received them yesterday, leaving an expiration date in 20 days? That is not acceptable! Grocery stores or markets selling these items would prove my point. Sellers need to post expiration dates with food items! **Q: What is the shelf life from date of being manufactured?** A: Hi there. Thanks for your question. Mondelēz International ships product to Amazon with at least 90 days of shelf-life. Please make sure the product you purchase states Sold and Shipped by Amazon, as Mondelēz International cannot guarantee shelf life of product sold by other sellers.” We hope this helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Texture is great *by A***R on 19 January 2026* Great taste ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tasty classic! *by M***R on 1 September 2025* Chewy, sweet, and not too heavy—Fig Newtons are the perfect little snack.
