I should start by saying I purchased a similar table a little more than a year ago. Upon assembling I could tell it wasn't going to be long before I had to replace it. Sure enough, about a year later, I had to replace that table and here we are.This table is superior to that one in every meaningful way. The most critical difference being those 4 triangle support brackets on the two vertical posts. The product images highlight those supports and it may seem like a gimmick but they are obviously serving a functional purpose as I can immediately tell this table is far more sturdy than the previous one I had which ultimately failed at those very spots where this one is reinforced.It's almost certainly not real wood but the simulated wood surface is very attractive on the dark wood version. The wood grain pattern and dark stain gives it a realistic and classy look. The laminate surface is maybe a bit slippery but nowhere near as slick as my previous table. Items do not slide around on the tabletop surface the way they did on the other one.The height of the table is perfect. They all seem to be about the same height which must have something to do with a standardized height of most sofa arms. I didn't need to install the 4 adjustable feet as there was just enough clearance without them and since the table will be used on carpet they weren't necessary and I prefer to be able to easily slide the table around without the feet installed.TLDR - This table is probably the best option out of the many C tables available on Amazon right now. This was the only one I found that has those triangle support brackets which I know from experience are very necessary. It looks really nice and fits everywhere I need it to. If you need a C table this is a great option.

Easy to assemble and perfect as a side table. It’s a bit tall to use as a desk unless you’re sitting up higher. I’m on a small loveseat, and it’s a few inches too high to work comfortably on a laptop. I like it a lot as extended surface space for eating in front of the tv, too.

I looked at seemingly a million of these on Amazon before settling on this one. We initially wanted a TV tray that would be for my young son to avoid spills in the living room (we were tiring of cleaning our wool rug!). We needed something that looked nice enough to leave out, was lightweight and easy to move, and wouldn't have any cross-beams underneath that would be easy to kick or cause the tray to be unsteady. This one worked out nearly perfect! Easy to put together, looks nice enough. It slides easily so he can pull it up close when eating or using his school laptop and goes right under the couch without issue (love the adjustable feet to ensure this). The c-shape ensures that there is nothing for his feet or shins to bump underneath and knock anything over and it's just heavy enough not to tip either. The only thing missing from this model is a cup holder, which we ended up buying separately. That took some searching as well to ensure that it would fit since the metal bars that support the table top run very close to the edge on three sides, but we found one that works. After a few months of use, no spills and it still looks great!

They work well and are sturdy

This sturdy table is so easy to put together and its very sturdy. I'm using it on my (frustratingly) narrow balcony so we can have lunch or beverage at near-table-height and still move around it. It has a nice top so I would say it's also ideal for a small laptop desk, end table or bed table. It came boxed up and in perfect condition. Surprisingly mine is perfectly level --I checked with the level. I bought on prime-day and I don't recall how much of a discount it was, but I would buy this again for the right price. Maybe to use at the entrance with a basket below for shoes and related junk.

The media could not be loaded.  I added casters to mine, it comes with adjustable stationary feet. Took 5mins to put together. The black corner blocks you'll see in my video are there to protect it in shipping and not meant to be left on, I just chose to keep them to protect it and other objects/walls cuz its heavily used and frequently moved. The top colors of the option I selected is a smokey dark Grey with woodgrain pattern, the metal is a matte finish textured black. It's well made for the price and engineered well to tolerated moving and leaning on it without screws working loose or the C shape dropping. Perfect width/depth to use a laptop and mouse or as a snack table. It's on the tall side tho so some couches, like say mine for example is 18" floor to seat, it would feel too high. I knew that going in, but I wanted it to go over my couch arm, when I'm not using it as a desk, so when I use it in front of me I just sit on a pillow. It's perfect height though if im using a stand chair, like office or dining.
