Printer Dust Cover and Protector for HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw / M477fdn / M477fnw / M478 / M479 / M479fdw / M479fdn [Antistatic, Water Resistant, Heavy Duty Fabric, Black]

I bought this for my new home HP 479 to protect it from dust building up when it’s not being used. Since its an aftermarket product, I was concerned it may be too tight for the 479 since some of the other printers it fits are smaller, and also because a large plug sticks out from the back of the printer. However, the cover fits perfectly over the printer, plug and all. The other reviewers I read seem to be on point. The cover is extremely well made from premium, heavy duty, black nylon with solid stitching. Also like one of the other reviewers, my other office equipment is all black or dark gray. The HP 479 is mostly white. I didn’t think about that till after I’d already bought it. When the cover’s on (which is most of the time) everything matches nicely.The only suggestion I could make for an improvement would be to customize the top of the cover from the cube shape to better conform to the top of the 479, which slopes down in the front. But doing that would probably increase the cost and make it fit fewer models.

Fits perfectly HP MFP M477fdw, not too tight, not too loose. Enough space left for the power and Ethernet cables extending from the printer's back (my cables have angled plugs, but the space would probably be sufficient for straight plugs as well). Looks solid.

I measured dimensions of my printer before ordering, and confirmed the proper cover. It shipped and arrived on-time. Very pleased with overall quality - made of strong fabric, not cheap plastic that will crack over time.

My printer is safe and dust free.

My new big printer for my home business is white. Absolutely does not go with the decor. During business hours it's OK but other times it's annoying to my spouse and therefore me. The cover fits perfectly and it camouflages the printer so it just looks like a fashionable lump. And the art hanging over it is black/white, perfect. By the way, the cover keeps the dust out of there, a very good thing. Great product, service, delivery.

Great product. Does exactly as expected. Easy to set up. Relatively fast

This is a really top notch product. It is well worth the investment, since it is opaque and keeps the sun from yellowing the printer as well as keeping the machine clean. Most importantly, it simply looks sharp and the embroidered company name actually adds to the appearance. I am glad that I did not go with something cheaper as was the original plan.

Extremely pleased with the way this cover fits my HP Color Laser Jet Pro. Material is thick and construction is solid. Cost effective investment to protect office equipment.
