Amazing little product

Really, there's not much to say. Tested against a $400 torque wrench at it's pretty much spot on all the way out to it's max at 25in lbs. I keep it in my range case on the off chance a scope ring or base gets wiggly on me. The price is a little steep, but it's nice peace of mind to know you're spot on vs "close enough" when dealing with high end optics in the field. I'll probably pick up a few more of their tools as the quality is excellent.

This is a compact and flexible torque solution. Flexible because you can use whatever driver you want, and therefore fit into tight spaces. Be careful when using this around acidic/alkaline solvents or anything that could potentially remove the anodized markings and render it useless. Two improvements would be to engrave the markings, and have more of them.

After reading some negative reviews about these online I was hesitant to purchase, but I'm glad I did. I recently bought a 10/22 and began adding aftermarket parts, only to see accuracy worsen. Received this today and immediately disassembled the 10/22 and reassembled w/manufacturer suggested torque specs, now it's a tack driver. Who cares that you don't preset a torque value and crank until it clicks? Find your torque specs, put this tool in a good bit driver, and turn the screw until the indicator on the tool lines up with the spec. Can't be simpler. Torque range is limited, I'll admit. I bought the red one, too. All in I've still spent less than i would have on a low end in/lb driver, but application isn't limited by a permanently attached handle. I can switch between a stubby, a finger ratchet, or a 12" t handle at will. Hopefully it holds up, it's a handy tool to have.

First off to address most of the negative reviews, people just don't seem to read and/or understand the description of how this product works. It's not the type of torque limiting device that you "set" or that "clicks". It operates like a beam torque wrench where you apply torque and watch the gauge until you achieve the desired specification. That said this device works great and is far more portable than other devices so perfect for your range bag. I also verified the accuracy with my digital inch-lb torque wrench and it hit the mark every time.
