A Magician's Gel!
My goats will not eat this willingly, even if hidden in a snack, but, holy cow does this stuff work!!! 😱 I have heard of replamin plus gel for quite a while, but the price kept me hesitating to purchase it. Don't hesitate like me if you have a goat you feel needs a boost! Let me tell you why. Before a 2 1/2 week vacation, I managed to get one of my goats who had a solid-colored, wirey, sparse, dull coat, to take about one teaspoon, when the gel was spread sparsely through a lot of treats and feed. When I got home from my trip, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this same goat! Her fur was shiny, healthier looking, and less sparse. She even developed a darker line on her back, darker ankles, and a lighter spot on her head. This was after just one, small dose. So, don't hesitate! It works. Plus the dosage is small, so it will last a very long time for one goat.I think it is helpful to know that I did not use an applicator gun. I wanted to see if I could use the gel tube as is, before investing in the pricey applicator. I can definitely see how the gun would be helpful for getting replamin down a goat who refuses to eat it on their own (like mine, but I managed), however I don't feel like the applicator gun is necessary. You can push the inside of the tube from the back to get gel to express. I used my hand, but as the tube depletes, I'll have to use the handle of a wooden spoon or some other similar implement to push the gel out. I did some simple math and came up with a dosage amount of one teaspoon for one small goat. (Nigerian Dwarf in my case.)It smells fishy, is dark green, and grainy.

Excellent Supplement For Goats
My goats lose the fur on the tops of their heads unless I give this to them. Their coats stay gorgeous with it. I give once per week if they look scruffy, and once a month for maintenance once they are back to looking nice. I can see a significant difference in pictures from different time periods. I still copper bolus, in addition to Replamin, but they need the bolus less often. My goats aren't great about eating their loose minerals, but they have those available at all times. For administering this, I have to hold their heads for the first couple of doses, usually, and after that, they will just put their mouths on the tip and eat it willingly. My buck is obsessed with it and I have to separate him from the other goats in order for them to get their turn. It is totally worth getting the big tube and using the gun. The tube is the same size as the large tube of probios, so you only need 1 gun for both.

Good stuff!
Replamin Plus is a wonderful supplement for goats. It helps with copper deficiencies, and so many other nutritional issues.

Easy to use
Most of my goats think this is great and will take it without hassle. I like that they are getting what they need to keep them healthy.
