Use it all the time - as described and works great. This is the third one or so we have had but they usually last a really long time (years). Good price and easy to use. No connectivity issues, and it appears t charge just fine while connected.

This cable and charger combo works perfectly! It charges my devices quickly and consistently without any issues. The build quality feels sturdy and durable, and the cable length is just right. I’ve used it daily and haven’t experienced any problems. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a dependable charging solution!

I maintain a music collection on my cell phone that I wanted to play while on a recent road trip. My vehicle audio system doesn't support Bluetooth but does provide a standard audio auxiliary port to connect a device directly to the sound system. I needed a USB C to 3.5mm adapter to connect to phone, but also needed the adapter to allow for charging simultaneously so that my battery was fully charged when arriving at final destination (I have an older phone/battery that depletes significantly with audio and navigation functions on full-time). I searched and read reviews of several solutions, but I decided to try this adapter based on positive reviews, functionality, and it appeared to be made with sturdy materials. Easy plug-n-play with only issue being that I had to turn up the volume on both the phone and radio to get sound through the speakers (not a major issue but noteworthy). Sound quality appears to be good. Functions exactly as I had hoped. Sound is not quite as good as when I play CD's through system, but at least as good as the radio and that could be impacted by the audio file format I used to save the audio files.

The adapter works well with my Moto and Samsung phones. I’m not awarding 5 stars because the stereo sound needs a tad bit more improvement.

*Update: okay, so i was originally on the fence with this as one out of two worked great. (See below review.) However, since posting this the first one I bought has started messing up. It will just disconnect at random. Not the cord itself, they stay connected just fine. It will stop playing music and stop charging. I have to unplug it and plug it back it to make it work again and depending on the day is for how long. The other day I unplugged the charging side and it stayed on for about 30 minutes before cutting off again. On my 20 minute drive home today i had to do this 3 times and finally said the heck with it a mile from home. Not only is this annoying, but unsafe as I have to keep messing with it while driving to get it to play. I will be buying a differnt brand and recommending to everyone I know to stay away from this one. Even on sale it is not worth the money or effort.Would normally give this 5 stars. However, the second one is not good. I order one of these for the vehicle that I drive. It worked great! Charges my phone while allowing me to listen to my music play list. (Our vehicles do not have Bluetooth capabilities.) It worked so great that I decided that it was worth it to buy one for both of our vehicles. The second one I ordered is not good. It will allow me to play music through the car, but not charge. It over heats and causes my phone to get hot at the charging port to the point it feels like it will catch fire. I only have a 15-20 minute drive to work so using it on a long drive would definitely be out of the question. Will not be buying a third nor can I recommend this brand.

It works great! It sounds pretty good and charges fast, it doesnt work with USB Audio Player Pro unfortunately, but I have higher end dongle for that anyway. It does buzz when hooked up to an amplified source when its not plugged into the phone so there is some noise, but I just turn off the source. I have had two of these for 9 months and they both still work great without any problems, I haven't had any disconnections or charging issues. I use this with Tidal which has the best support for USB Audio, Tidal prompts for permission to use USB Audio which doesn't happen with other Music Apps and that sometimes leads to quirky problems.

On the most recent tablets from companies such as Samsung they have eliminated the presence of the phone jack that you would use to attach your earbuds/a speaker/earphones. So you have three choices. You can listen using the built in speakers, you can use Bluetooth interface earbuds that have no wires or you can buy one of these adapters. This is my choice for dealing with the problem. I simply prefer to use corded earbuds/earphones. You plug this adapter into the USB-C port and it provides a connection for earbuds and an additional USB-C port. You do not need to do anything with settings, you simply plug this adapter in and it works perfectly.

After trying this on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Note 9 I was a bit dissapointed... The description states it can be used to listen to music, play games, calling or watch videos while fast -charging your device. It does ALL of those with the exception of calls... when the call part happens, the MIC part doesn't work. In fact, the phone switches over to internal. Sadly, there are no settings in the phone concerning this... Simply put, it is being detected simply as a 'headphone' with no mic on both phones.On to the charging. On BOTH phones: it recognizes the lowest trickle charge speeds and fast charge up to 25 watt speeds but does not recognize the fastest 45 watt speed charge capable of the newer Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.I could over look the speed of the charge... but sadly, due to the mic issue I need to return and look for another device that does this job. This is likely some compatability issue with my Samsung S22 Ultra and the 1More Quad headphones for Cell Phones.
