So I replaced the original rubber ducky antenna with this unit and went from -81 dBm to -69 dMm just like that. Hopefully that's enough to keep us locked on the local tower. Update: so far so good, we are locked in and haven't lost signal since the new Cradlepoint was installed. Review: Better Reception - Much improved over the standard antennas that came with the router
