It’s soap, it cleans, it smells fine
Bulk soap options were surprisingly few. I was tired of plastic waste so I thought this would be a good way to go. Some of the reviews were negative, mentioning no suds or that it was watered down. I decided it was worth a shot anyway and I’m glad I bought it.I can say the soap is just fine, the scent is not too strong and it’s definitely not watered down. I was satisfied with its viscosity. Also, the sud level was fine for me. It’s probably not the sudsiest soap ever, but there are suds and if the other reviewer hadn’t mentioned it I’d have never given it a second thought.I definitely think I’ll be buying this again.

Essentially hand soap. Doesn't lather
It's essentially hand soap not body wash. As reviews regularly note, it doesn't really lather. So any money you save is offset by needing extra soap. I tested it against Dial liquid hand soap and it lathers and cleans nearly identically. The most accurate review I've seen says it all, "It’s soap, it cleans, it smells fine." I'm giving it two stars because I don't think it's accurate to call it body wash, won't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it for someone looking for body wash. But on the positive side if you're looking for soap, it's a great price, cleans well, doesn't dry your skin and the scent isn't very strong.

Lovely scent and high moisturizing feeling when used.
So I originally purchased this to use in my Airbnb unit. Frankly, my focus was on value for money. But, my guests loved it so much, I started to use it myself. A nice scent from it and it does feel like it moisturizes your skin. So given the cost, you are on to a winner here.

I use it for my kids
My two kids share a shower. No matter how hard we try my kids can't seem to use a human amount of shampoo and conditioner. If we leave bottles, they use them up in a week. They do have the cleanest hair on the planet but there's no way they should be able to use that much. So, we installed a wall-mounted pump. We fill it with this. It smells great, it works, it's cost-efficient AND it isn't full of random chemicals.

Good soap, gross fragrance
I generally like Ginger Lily products, particularly the Island Tranquility soap. Tried this one to see what it's like. The consistency is fine, but the fragrance I find oppressive. It's like a failed attempt at essence of grapefruit, and the bitter part of grapefruit at that (I happen to like grapefruit). To be fair, scent is somewhat a matter of taste, but I cannot recommend this one.
